My friends and I had dinner at Breko Cafe as a part of our TGIF celebration at Holland Village. This cafe was so packed, thankfully we got seats in outdoor area.Cookie Monster - $5.60. Typical cookies & cream blended drink. The shake was thick, not overly sweet and not sickening. Basically Oreo never goes wrong for me. Me likey!Chunky Chicken Nuggets - $6.50. Quite huge bites and huge serving of chicken nuggets. They look more like chicken karaage tbh hahaha. Came with mayonnaise dipping, these munchies instantly became everyone's favorite that night.Gold Fish with French Fries & Coleslaw - $14.90. Breaded fried pacific dory served with French fries and coleslaw (we can choose 2 kinds of side dish). It was such big slice of fish! The fish tasted a bit tasteless though, but the flesh was soft. Eating the fish on its own was very fulfilling already, I had to ask my friend to help me finish the side dishes.Overall, my dinner was satisfying. I don't mind paying service tax as the service was prompt and friendly. It was my first time having dinner at Holland Village and I love the atmosphere, which was very vibrant at night. continue reading

Having brunch with my elder sis at Breko as we walked by seeing there were plenty of seats. We were served by friendly staff and ordered Pancakes Peter Pan to shar between us.The pancakes were very fluffy and soft, and went well with the salty charred bacon, maple syrup and butter. Grilled tomato was average. My only gripe is the visual presentation and portion was kind of miserable. continue reading

Love the sauce mixed with the egg. This is the smaller version of the second picture below. It serves with Sausage, bacon, eggs, breads...This is a XL breakfast with Bacon, Scrambled egg, Sunny Side Up, Chicken Patty, sausage and Muffins. Another Version of McDonalds. These two meals are set meals that comes with tea/coffee. However you can upgrade your tea or coffee. What's so great is that the tea and coffee are of wide selection. continue reading

Dinner @ Holland Village's Breko Cafe - a quiet place for dinner if you are there early on weekdays... i was there around 630pm..the place is still quite empty... for those who want to catch some sports channel and want to have dinner at the same time.. this is a place for you to be... you can meet up with your soccer or tennis friends to sit down together and eat and watch your favourite sports together. They serve alcoholic beverage too..Jumbo Sausage with Garden Salad and Criss-Cross Fries ($13.90) i love the criss cross fries... cripsy... the jumbo sausage was what i expected... it is not so JUMBO... and it is not really juicy like other german sausage... Chicken Cordon Bleu with Potato Salad and Mashed Potatoes ($14.50) chicken was quite nicely fried... don't like the thick creamy dressing over the chicken... made it a bit too soft... but the mashed potatoes were really good... it wasn't really totally mashed but there were still little pieces of potato bits... Overall, I feel that the sides are better than the main dish... continue reading

I went to breko café to chill out with some friends. It was a long time since we met up so when someone suggested there, we all agreed. Since we had dinner before we met up, so when we got there, we just ordered their drinks. Their drinks are very affordable, their drinks like Heineken, tiger, corona all selling at $8 each. When you both two bottles, it is $6 each. You can even mix and match. I love the ambience to chill out and catch up with friends! continue reading
