time for early supper since my friend and i were at east coast park.we went to this HK cafe to have some foodwe had their famous milk tea~ loved it as it was thick enough~ i mean the taste~as usual i would order their XO chili fried carrot cake~really tasty when i put their chili over it~currently i miss their 2 flavours pork chop which is no longer on the menu

Six months ago, I used to visit this C. Nai HongKong Cafe Express at least 3-5 times a week for dinner or supper. Food standard was superb and the staff were friendly and courteous. I have since stopped doing so 2 months back when i realized that their food standard had dropped tremendously. Well, I came here today with my boyfriend again hoping that we would find some "surprises"... However, it failed us again.We tried some of their famous / star dishes and our comments as follows:1. The famous XO Fried Carrot Cake was a disappointment. I would describe it as "tasteless, hard, and oily". It had lost the flavor that it used to be.2. Their Wanton noodles were dry and hard. It could be due to the lack of sauce and the noodles were not cooked thoroughly.3. Their lychee tea was tasteless and lack of the Lychee flavor in it. ( I had tasted better Lychee Tea in other Hongkong cafe here).4. Curry fish ball. The curry is too thick and the dish is not served hot.Given all of the above, the poor service of the staff further expressed our disappointment in them. I guess it could be our last visit to this cafe...
