This place has lots of parking lots. But nothing in the area unless you got activities at HomeTeamNS. A relative of mine strike 4D so was treating. The ambience of this place is your usual Chinese traditional restaurant feel. As I was too busy eating and couldn't catch up to take note of what I was eating because everything tasted pretty good. Only managed to snap these pictures! The duck skin was very tasty with the sauce. Sharks Fin soup had more taugeh and crab though. Fish was very fresh. The rest was okay so-so. The cereal prawn was flavourful and my favourite. The staff are very efficient in their service, helpful and willing to entertain us. continue reading

It was my grandmother’s birthday and everyone in the family wanted to organise it as a grand event. after much discussion with the rest of the family, we decided to hold it at one of my grandmother’s favourite restaurant. We invited a couple of her friends and relatives. The manager was nice to give us a room of our own. The room was pretty spacious. We had the food served in buffet style so everyone can grab their food and mingle around. The food was pretty good, they had two staple food, one fried rice, one fried noodles. There were garlic roast chicken, butter prawns, scallop broccoli, fried fish and many more. But these few left and impression in me. The butter prawns were very crispy and fragrant, the prawns were very fresh and the meat was juicy and succulent. The broccoli was cooked until very tasty. The roast chicken is very fragrant with the fried garlic. The food was really good and my grandmother was really pleased with the celebration. continue reading

It was a long time since I met up with my classmates, so we decided to get tgt for an archery session at Cdans Home Team Clubhouse. Before that, we went to the Guilin Restaurant downstairs to have dinner before we proceed. The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there, so we were served pretty quickly. I placed an order as my friends had no opinions, and we ordered a plate of fried rice, mee goreng and a bowl of fish maw soup. The soup was the 1st to come. It was piping hot, and very flavourful. I put alot of vinegar (as alwys), and it was very satisfying. There were alot of ingredients inside, well worth the price paid. The broth was abit too salty though, but it's also bcos of its saltiness which makes it so nice, haha. The fried rice was the next to come. It was also very hot, and just the right amount of ingredients too. The rice was just nice, not too dry or wet. Taste was just nice, not too salty. Only thing was that there were just a few prawns scattered around such a big plate of fried rice, if there's more it would be better. The mee goreng was the nicest. Half the plate was gone before I managed to snap a shot of it, haha. It was pretty spicy, with prawns, carrots and beansprouts etc. Serving was big too. The spring onions in it made the whole dish more flavourful too. Wasnt too dry, and I actually ate 3 small bowls of it. A must try! Overall, a pleasant dining experiece, only marred by a few houseflies flying around which was very irritating. Other than that, service was good and food was of pretty good standard. Will patronize again. continue reading

Our company had a mini celebration on clenching some big sales and we had the celebration at guilin restaurant. Apparently they specially booked a room and the food was laid in a buffet spread. They had quite a number of dishes, about 11. There was fried rice, noodles, prawns, vegetables, rendang. I like their mutton rendang the most. It was not too spicy and the mutton was so soft. the gravy went so well with the rice and noodles. It was sweetish and sourish at the same time. The flavours infused into the mutton making every single piece just so tasty. everyone was satisfied with the meal. continue reading
