Fun night of good food and sisha

Identifiable by the giant white balloon stationed at the "main gate", is Nabins Restaurant, restaurant serving Mediterranean / Arabian food - I was here 3 years back for drinks and sisha, and yearn for that experience again, together with dinner.  Ambience was beautiful, initimate settings with deep maroon cushions and gold drapes. Service was a little slow, but otherwise,We had the Shish Kebab (SGD$22.90), for how could one visit an Arabian restaurant and not try their kebabs (skewered meat)? W

 We had the Shish Kebab (SGD$22.90), for how could one visit an Arabian restaurant and not try their kebabs (skewered meat)? We chose the lamb kebab - the best, utterly tender lamb on a stick I have ever came across; well-marinated so that there was no gamey taste at all, only palatable sweetness throughout. Paired with the fragrant rice, this dish was a keeper for sure.

 We also tried the Roasted Chicken with Apricot (SGD$13.90), served with the aromatic rice to accentuate the overall flavour. The chicken was succulent and had a good apricot-infused flavour to it - saccharine and savoury combined beautifully. The dried apricots and cashew nuts added bites to the dish.

It was a just a small get together to celebrate my cousin's birthday. So we went for dinner at some indo restaurant then to Nabins to chill. I have never tried the Baklava from their place. But GOSH i got to tell you it tastes PRETTY AWESOME. For those who don't know what is baklava it's actually middle eastern dessert. It was so crunchy and SWEEET. The nuts, the raisins and not FORGETTING THE SUGAR SYRUP THEY POUR ON TOP OF THE BAKLAVA...

Nabins is one of the most relaxing places to go to and jus chill out with your friends or loved ones. Nabins serves Arabian food, with seafood platters right up to very traditional dishes. Its meat platter, with chicken drumlets, fries, onion rings and calamari served with chilli and mayo, is enough to feed a family of 4. Their sheesha flavours range from watermelon to bubblegum right up to mint. The Baklava is a sweet pastry filled with chopped nuts and honey. This dessert is for those who have a sweet tooth. It is extremely sweet because of the honey and it is also very nutty. The kofta kebab is one of my favourite dishes. It is made from lamb and a little bit crunchy , a little spicy due to the rich spices but it is definitely worth your money. It is $7.40 for 4 kofta kebabs and it is rather filling.
Nabins has a very comfortable feel with sufficient cushions and very warm lighting. The service provided at Nabins is satisfactory as they never fail to greet you with a smile.
