I went to bugis for lunch this afternoon, decided to settle at the food court at Level 3. We saw they are having promotion on the curry rice with kaarage at only $5.90. we decided to give it a good try. The curry rice is not bad, but it is abit funny, with they placed the rice on the grill hot pot, while it has already pre-cooked, the grilled hot pot isn’t hot at all. The curry rice is abit of oily, kaarage is not bad, soup is too bland. It is still okay for lunch at $5.90. I mixed the egg with the rice, still not bad. continue reading

My colleague and I went shopping today at Bugis Junction, and decided to have our lunch there at the Food Junction. The place is parked during lunch time. I had Curry Rice with Karage. The rice is quite good and the karage is tasty too. I am surprise to see half boiled egg as normally others would serve with fried egg instead. We will come back for the fried noodle next time. continue reading

Teppanyaki stall in food court and menu is almost the same, all of them equally value for money and i think the different is the skill of the chef as ingredients and sauces use are mostly the same. This stall chef's skill would be highly recommended as the few times i came here, the salmon is fried just nice, not too cook and still juicy inside, bean sprouts are just cooked and crunchy and the sunny side egg is fried cooked with firm egg white but egg yoke remains like those you find in half boiled egg-that's really a skillset and the sauces they used also very tasty. continue reading
