It's always good to have a decent Thai food stall nearby. This stall sells some good selection of Thai and Viet food, have tried their green curry the previous time and it wasn't bad, this time I'm trying the Basil Chicken ($3.50), for its price, the portion is pretty good, it's not that spicy and I liked every flavourful taste I get from the minced chicken, compliments very well with plain white rice. continue reading

Today come to this canteen for lunch again.First time trying out this stall. It has a long queue but is fast moving. The aunty taking the order seems to be a Thai.Order Pad Thai ($3.50) Traditional Thai style fried noodles. I have thought there is a need to wait for a while but is fast. The amount is big. Tastes good but a bit wet. There is assorted chilli powder and sauces at the counter for you to help yourself to. continue reading

It had been a long time I ordered food from Vietnam and Thailand cuisine at koufu. Last few days ago, I decided to go for the Vietnamese kuey teow as I don’t feel like eating other food. The Vietnamese kuey teow tasted quite nice. I don’t felt greasiness from this dish. The soup tasted quite special but it was a little bit too salty for me. Will visit this stall agian for another dishes. continue reading

This is the first time I tried this vietnamese kuey teow, not bad, different taste from the chinese cooked kuey teow. It has a few type of herbs inside the soup that give the special taste of it. The beef balls were special but a bit salty for me because too much soy sauce inside. I do not like the vegetables they put inside, it spoilt the taste of the soup. Anyway, it was worth trying but I still prefer chinese kuey teow... continue reading
