$2.20 for a pear juice
Just OK 2012-03-14

Cool Man ( Choa Chu Kang )
I went to order my drink from cool man without looking at the price. In the end, my pear juice cost me $2.20 for the normal size cup. It was indeed rather pricey judging by the amount of ice they added to the drink. It took me a couple of gulps and I finished the drink. The pear was indeed freshly squeeze as you can only taste the natural sweetness of the drink. I was watching the lady prepare the entire time, at least she did not add in any sugar syrup. But for $2.20, I feel that it is not really worth it.

bangkok chicken is a must order
Smile 2012-03-14

ThaiExpress ( City Hall )
i went to thai express with a couple of friends. It has been quite a long while since I set foot into this thai restaurant. I ordered their Bangkok chicken. It was so delicious. the chicken was so gigantic and there were many pieces as well. their chicken is fried until the skin is very crispy and fragrant, the meat is so tender and juicy. I especially like their chilli dip, it is on the sour side, went to well with the chicken that I had to ask for another serving of the dip. I strongly recommend this Bangkok chicken, you will not regret!

mr bean's sandwich
Smile 2012-03-14

Mr Bean - Canteen B ( Jalan Bahar )
I did not know that mr bean actually sold sandwiches! Apparently there are two queues for the mr bean in ntu, one for the normal pancake and soya milk, the other for the sandwich. I decided to give it a try ordered the egg mayo sandwich. Initially when I got my sandwich, it did look a lot smaller than subway’s 6 inch but after eating halfway, it felt so filling. They added quite a generous amount of egg mayo till the extent that when I squeeze it a little, it oozes out. The lady gave me a choice as to what sauce I wanted to add, I opted for mustard. The mustard sauce did give the sandwich a sourish taste making it very delicious. I would not mind patronising their sandwich kiosk again to try their other sandwiches since each sandwich only cost $2.80.
