I ordered the fried fish soup with noodles. The portion is really huge, it was too much for me to finish. It costs $5 for the meal which I feel was value for money. The fried fish slices are fresh and well fried. I like the soup especially when cooked with milk.

For just $2.50, I can enjoy a delicious nasi lemak meal from Golden Shoe Nasi Lemak. There is always a long queue as the nasi lemak is cheap and good. The coconut rice is fragrant and the chicken meat is tender. The other side dishes include egg and fish cake which smells and taste great too.

I bought a loaf of bread from Bread Of Life Bakery shop located at Esplanade Xchange. I chose the plain white bread thick slices toast which costs $2. The bread slices are freshly baked from the oven and it tastes great spread with jam or butter. The bread is neatly wrapped in the plastic bag.

I really like the laksa at Toast Box. I went to the Food Republic outlet for lunch which costs $4.50. The laksa gravy is creamy and the spiciness suits my taste buds just right. The portion was sufficient to fill my stomach. It comes with eggs, bean curd skin and noodles. I enjoy the meal overall.

Bibigo is one of my favourite Korean restaurants. We ordered a few dishes and one of them was the sweet and sour pork. It costs $13.90 for the dish which tastes extremely tasty. I like the way the pork is cooked as the pork is very fresh and the seasoning of the sauce is great.

Craving for some snacks, I bought some cheese dip fries from Best Fries Forever shop located at Raffles City. It costs $5 for my night snack, a little pricey but it was alright. The thick fries are fried at high temperature which enhances the crispiness. I like the cheese dip especially as it is creamy and thick.
