Am craving for Korea BBQ & my friend bought us to 'The Corner Place Korean BBQ' for dinner.
The restaurant look rather small & cramp but it is very neat & comfortable with enough walking space in between.

I personally like BBQ pan with 'oil draining system' as it is more healthy & at the corner place they uses such pan for customer
which is a plus! Furthermore, every now and then the service crew will check your BBQ pan and ask whether you need to change the
aluminium foil to a new one and they can do it within seconds! *Very good customer service!*

And below are some of the variety of food I took as I am way too busy eating mad
My most favourite dish has got to be the ginseng chicken porridge as it is so delicious and tasty!
I had a total of 5 bowl! That's how ridiculously nice it is and I will definitely go back for more again!!

And the tteokbokki is by far the nicest one I'd ever had as it is very soft and chewy!! And the spiciness
is bearable which is great for people who can't endure very spicy food like me. tongue

Japchae! The most common local delight that never go wrong. Recommend to have some as appetiser before
you start swallowing BBQ meat down your stomach. lol

And the rice pancake which I find it alright just that it is a little bland however some chilli sauce with it taste out better!lol
I recommend you guys to try their kimchi & kimchi rice too as it is very delicious!

Visited Lai Lai @ their Jurong point outlets for dinner with my colleagues after work last Friday and as usual, I ordered their Set A which comes with a main+a side+a drinks.

My side dish & drinks came first and after I finish it my main dish has not arrive hence I waited patiently till approximate half an hour later both my colleagues were almost done with their meals yet my main dish was nowhere to be seen.

So I check with one of the waitress politely on the status of my beef noodles and she returned to inform me that it will take another 2 mins to be ready. After a long while, my noodles finally arrived at my table and to my surprise (Look at the pix!!)

It came with 'SPECIAL' ingredients in it :

Could you see HOW MUCH pepper and spicy oil was added into it

This is what I get for every single noodles I pick up with my chopstick!
(I'm serious!)

Look carefully at the spoon, could you see how much pepper on it

Frankly speaking, I am sure that the cook did that on purpose just because I check on the status of my noodles ONCE. I really can't imagine what I'll be getting if I am those type of nasty customer that make a huge fuss on the spot after waiting for so long.

This is definitely NOT the 1st time I had dine in Lai Lai (Jurong Point) before, in fact it is the 5th time and during my every visit I only order set A because I like beef noodles and I'm someone who can't take spicy stuff.

And after having some of the noodles, my stomach gets a little upset and my face was burning hot as it is really spicy! This is going to be my LAST visit at their Jurong point outlets and I'm not going to recommend any of my friends to visit this restaurant again.

DINE THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Selected Tiffany Cafe for our dept early x'mas celebration because of one simple reason ;
It is a Halal certified buffet restaurant. Further more we have always wanted to try something
new apart from the very down graded food quality from Sakura buffet.

So here are some of the food that Tiffany cafe offer :
(Note : The crab leg was actually where they place the alaska crab!
And it always run out within a few mins after the cook replenish it. -.-'')

The food serve there were pretty decent. Mainly Japanese and Western food.
There are some chinese food like duck rice and wanton noodles over there which
I try a little and find that it is rather awful.

Below are some of the stuff I highly recommended to give it a try :

*Fresh salmon sashimi* -

*Creamy pumpkin soup* - I had 2 bowl of it!
The Pumpkin soup was Great!

*The dessert section is worth checking out specially the chocolate cake*

And lastly . .
*Mango with pomelo*

An Angelic Dinner @ Tea Cosy Smile Dec 05, 2011

Categories : Restaurant

Surrounded by tons of Angel Figurines and deco, Tea Cosy is definitely every girls dream place to dine in!

I personally tried both and I prefer the Lychee Breeze best as it is very smoothing & cooling while the peppermint cool (with marshmallows on top of it) taste just like milk powder with mint which is very awful. mad

And here's my friend main dish :
(The salad comes along with the Steak)

Steak with potato

Steak with potato

I quite like the Steak as it is very well done(fresh & tender too) and the crispy potato with it is so tasty that I crave for more immediately after my friend let me try the first slice!

I highly recommend steak-lover to try their steak while the only flaws is with the salad bowl. The small bowl that they use is not ergonomics friendly at all and the veg tends to fall out every time when we attempt to pick the veg with our folks. sad

Next up is this mushroom pasta which I love it to the max!
The mushroom they use are all so big, fat and juicy that the whole pasta carries a very strong mushroom smell ~!!! tongue

Lastly, my 'Bangers'(German sasuage) with mash potato & coleslaw :
Bangers & Mash

Bangers & Mash

The mash potato is rather tasteless and I don't like the alfalfa sprouts at all which makes me feel like a cow chewing on raw grasses but the sasuage is quite good as you can see from my pix smile

Overall, I really like the place, ambience and food and I can't wait to go back again to try their high tea sets on this sofa with my friend.smile

I became a big fans for Pistachio ice-cream ever since I tried the one at
'Melt the world cafe' and since Udders Premium Range of ice-cream includes
Italiano Pistachio how could I miss it!?

I tried the Udders Italiano Pistachio at their west mall outlets and to my suprise
it is far much tasty and better than the one at Melt!! Every mouthful of Udders
Pistachio ice cream makes me feel like I am chewing on tons of Pistachio at a
go!
