My favourite yogurt Smile Mar 10, 2011

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

Among all the new yogurt stores, Yami remains my very favourite. I recommend the peach flavour when visiting Yami. It is not too sweet, has a tinge of sourness to it and the peach smell is wonderful.

Yami has a practice of weighing their yogurt to make sure that they dispense fairly to each customer which i think it's quite redundant yet amusing at the same time. As for topping wise, they are fairly generous.

Price wise, it is considered one of the cheapest at around $3 per cup without any toppings.

Not too bad OK Mar 10, 2011

I've been trying different brands of froyo whenever I pass by them. For Yigloo, I had the Original flavour which was alright. Original can never get wrong do they? It was creamy and smooth. Toppings wise, you can choose whatever you fancy and help yourself to it. Fresh fruits, nuts, nata de coco and sprinkles.

The downside of the entire froyo experience at Yigloo is the messy toppings counters. They had toppings dropped by previous customers here and there.

Fanciful ice cream ! Smile Mar 09, 2011

Was passing by City Link while making my way to Marina Square. The shop's decor is really attractive and fanciful with their bright lights and striking colours.

Out of impulse, I had went in to get myself a Panna Cotta flavour ! Cheesecake was being added which adds on to the blissfulness ! The ice cream itself was flavourful and presented nicely with fresh cream atop.

At $5.90, I would say it makes a pretty good dessert after meals!

Sandwiches Smile Mar 09, 2011

Cedele prides itself in their healthy choices.

I would recommend their Rosemary Chicken Sandwich. It's a sandwich on focaccia bread with fresh chicken meat marinated with rosemary infused olive oil and cranberry sauce!
They really use fresh cranberries which is to die for ! It's sweet and savory at the same time !

Next would be their Saffron Clam Chowder which has a very subtle hint of saffron. Clams are plentiful as well ! Their soup isn't diluted and watery which I would give thumbs up for !

One of my favourite outlet in Vivocity. Bento set costs around $10 and the serving is huge !

The tonkatsu set is one of my favourite. It's fried till golden brown, doesn't taste oily and large very huge pieces.

Sashimi and sushi were really fresh as well !

Although the outlet is really small and does not catch the eyes of most people, I would really recommend people to try out this store !

The service is really friendly and heartwarming as well smile
