Salt Grill & Sky Bar  Smile Jun 26, 2011

Salt Grill & Sky Bar is really mind blowing. No word can describe how beatiful this restaruant and bar is. It is a place to bring your special someone to for special occasions as it is really impressive. The sky bar is located on the 55th storey of Ion where you can see the view of the city. I ordered the Berrytini, a drink combination of passionfruit, orange juice, blackberries, tequila and a touch of chambord. The drink costs $18, I feel the price is quite reasonable for such a place.

Red Mango - MBFC Smile Jun 19, 2011

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

Red mango is super delicious, thanks to the soft and smooth silky texture of the yoghurt. I like both the Blackcurrant and Original flavor. There was a promotion which costs $5 a cup for choice of yoghurt, 2 dry toppings and 1 fruit topping. It is a great steal and of course I ordered that. It is a great place to chill and relax while catching up with friends. The cozy little corner is filled with soft and comfy chairs.

Timbre - Substation Smile Jun 19, 2011

Categories : Bars/Lounges | Live Sports Broadcast | Pasta | Burgers and Sandwiches

The famous pizza of all the times at Timbre is the Thin Crust Pizza - Roasted Duck Pizza which costs $19. The combination of roasted duck breast, sautéed shiitake mushroom with Hoisin sauce, topped with crispy popiah skin & mozzarella cheese is just wonderful. Pizzas are served till late and it goes well with an iced cold beer. Live band and ambience at The Substation is a great place for great music and to chill.

Donuts make my day, especially the donuts found in J.Co Donuts & Coffee! It costs $1.40 for a donut, yes it’s a little pricey, but it’s value for money if you are a donut fan. I enjoy almost all flavours available in J.Co. I ordered the Mango Bliss simply because I love the mango whipped cream in the middle. The tenderness of the donut is awesome too.

Barcook Bakery - OUB Centre Smile Jun 19, 2011

Everything in Barcook just taste wonderful, from the famous raisin crème cheese to other buns variety to egg tarts are really great. The egg tart is a new creation where each costs $1.50 and two pieces costs $2.50. Freshly baked out of the oven, I bought a piece to try and the verdict is awesome. The egg tart is not oily, but yet crispy on the crust and tender on the custard. A good value for money!
