Carousel has been named one of the best buffets in Sinagpore for many years now. I decided to try it during one of the dinner times. We paid about $78 per pax just for the buffet. Quite a hefty price!

Carousel has a wide selection of cooked dishes. But I like their desserts corner! This is one of the desserts I kept taking. I love the raspberry at the top! Yummy! The sponge cake is not too dry nor too sweet!

To eat yummy xiao long baos I usually go for the hi tea buffet at Lao Beijing.

The high tea buffet is really cheap! At around $12 per pax and you can enjoy free flow of xiao long baos!The xiao long baos are filled with delicious tasting soup and juicy pork. It is really good! The skin is not too thick. Hence, you can really taste the rich flavour of the broth

Orange Julius has been around for a long time and I love their hotdogs and ice cream! They had more outlets in the past though. This is from the outlet at Orchard.Their famous Blizzard ice cream! This is the cookies and cream flavour. Yummy!The ice cream is thick and creamy. It is so thick that it hardly flows if held upside down. The texture is slightly sticky but it has a rich taste due to the thickness. ($3.90)

Ikea Meatballs! They are the highlight of every meal at Ikea. I prefer the older meatballs though, they were more in shape. But the taste of the meatballs are still good. The unique point of the meatballs is the juiciness that each ball retains. I also love the cranberry jam and the sauce that comes with the meatballs. The unique combination of sweet and tangy is delicious. Around $10 for a plate of 10 balls

Who doesnt love good chocolate?

This is one of my favourite chocolates of all time. The bitter nama chocolate from Royce.For those who dislike really sweet stuff, the bitter chocolate will be good for you! The chocolate melts in your mouth when you place it in your mouth. The bitter chocolate is not totally bitter but still slightly sweet. One box costs $15! Totally worth the money.

One thing I love about hotpot culture is that every person has their own individual hotpot. I like it because this way, you can choose to put whatever you want inside the hotpot. One of my favourite side dishes that comes with the hot pot is the sweet and sour pork.It may not look appetizing here but it is in fact really delicious. The skin is crispy and drenched in delicious sauce. Around $30 for a buffet dinner

This is my favourite drink from Koi. Their passionfruit with Aiyu jelly. The passionfruit drink is refreshing and great on warm days. A medium cup costs aound $3.50. The aiyu jelly is juicy when you bite into it. You can also add pearls if you are a pearl fan. A definite must try if you have not tried this before. It quenches your thirst and refreshes your body at the same time

The best Unagi that I have ever tasted is from Botan.This is the Unagi meal found at Botan. The whole meal costs around $27. Totally worth the price tag! The Unagi is really soft and the sauce is really good with the Unagi. I would highly recommend Botan to all Japanese food lovers. The fresh sashimi and restaurant setting will bring you to feel like you are in Japan!

I head heard about Botan for awhile now. Hence, me and my friend decided to head down to Botan to give it a try.This is the Yakiniku set that my friend ordered. The set is very value for money as it comes with sashimi and appetizers and soup. The sashimi is really fresh and thick and the beef itself is nicely stir fried with good sauce.

In addition, the whole layout and service is a replica of a real Japanese restaurant found in Japan

I love eating desserts after a meal. Ji De Chi serves good quality desserts at a reasonable price. There i usually a queue outside though. So you wont be too full when eating the dessert. This is their almond ice dessert. It is really good! The taste of the almond ice melting in your mouth is refreshing. The almond taste is strong, good for those who loves almonds. Would highly recommend this dessert on a warm day!

I have heard all about the highly raved Elements buffet at Amara hotel. However, it was only recently that I got to try it for myself. I purchased a Groupon deal for this buffet.

I was really disappointed. I had heard about the excellent quality of food provided. However, not all of the dishes promised on the voucher was available! The smoked salmon and macarons that was promised on the voucher was not available. It was a huge disappointment. The service was also bad as they took a long time to refill the empty sashimi plate even though the chefs had already seen that it was empty. I took them about 30mins to fill the empty plate.This is the grilled lobster. It is served in delicious sauce and is really good and fresh. The meat is tender and this was the dish that I was really happy about.

I went to Rocku with a couple of friends for the weekend lunch buffet. It was my first time there.
There is a relatively wide variety of dishes, ranging from awesome meat to sashimi. Look at the amount of meat that we took. Me and my friends are meat lovers.

The meat is succulent and tasty. The meat is sliced thinly to give you a melt in the mouth experience. Really delicious when grilled to perfection. Ambiance wise, it is a nice place for a gathering amonst friends with good food and a free flow of dishes. About $30

This is one of my favourites of all time. The seafood aglio olio. The Aglio Olio is not too oily and it really tasty. It is cooked together with herbs thaat taste very good together with the pasta. The prawns are fresh and tasty as well. A dish like this costs about $10 without GST and service charge

Lenas stocks my favourite pasta ever. The Carbonara. I always add an egg for an additional dollar when I dine in at lenas. Their carbonara sauce is rich and really tasty and delicious. The bacon is crisp and tasty and together with tobasco sauce, makes a really great combination. Really good. This costs about $14 without GST and service charge

I bought this sashimi when I was having severe craving for sashimi. The sashi is thich and delicious. Could score better in the freshness department though. But i like the thickness of this sashimi. WHen you can put it in your mouth and chew away and let the taste seep into your tongue. This costs about $10
