Octapas - Spanish Tapas Bar ( Clarke Quay )
Their platter of Serrano ham, chorizo, Manchego and goat cheese was barely bigger than a side dish, but it went well with the Fresh Tomato with a Kiss of Garlic on Toasted Focaccia. The chicken meatballs in almond sauce were rather dry, but the Octapas recommended beef tenderloin cubes—tiny morsels in a garlicky gravy—were very good indeed.
The price is a bit hight if you are alone...so its recommended for a group of friends juz want to ry deifferent kind of food....

Town Restaurant ( Raffles Place )
Dining at the Town Restaurant was an overall enriching experience. Not only do you get to taste a wide array of food and educate your foreign guests on the tantalizing treats, but you are also able to walk them down the historical journey of the Singapore River as they dine in appreciation of the food and hear the Singapore story unraveled before them.
The staff was alert and efficient in changing dirty utensils for cleaner ones, creating a pleasant dining experience. Feel free to approach them if you require any assistance because they are adequately knowledgeable to provide you with the appropriate advise.

Senor Santos Brazilian Churrascaria & Bar ( River Valley )
The interior, lit with treated naked light bulbs provides a warm, cosy and intimate ambience while its red seats and dark wood furniture gives it a contemporary feel. Part of the walls and ceilings are accented by square wood panels of red, white, green and yellow – giving a splash of Brazilian colours to the restaurant.

Top quality meats imported from Brazil, USA, New Zealand and Australia, are grilled in open view of all at the restaurant. The variety of meats include beef rump cap and beef hump (from Brazil), sirloin, tenderloin, leg of lamb, lamb fillet, chicken, chicken wrapped in beef, chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken heart, chicken thigh, fish fillet and turkey ham. Other items include focaccia bread, garlic bread and pineapple with cinnamon.

The Brazilian dining experience is not complete without a Caiphrinha, Brazil’s signature cocktail. A variety of Caiphrinha is available together with a range of wines, beers and spirits to complement the food.

beefy noodles!
Smile 2011-09-16

Handmade Noodle - Hao Kou Wei ( Pasir Ris )
The noodles here is very smooth and chewy as well. The beef soup or rather gravy is awesome. Very thick and the flavor is intense. The beef taste is very strong making the gravy really tasty. The beef is very tender, unlike some place where the beef is so chewy. You must eat with their chilli, it gives it a spicier flavor. Me and my daughter really enjoy it!

bak kut teh cravings...
Smile 2011-09-16

New Soon Huat Bak Kut Teh ( Jalan Kayu )
This is my first visit to this eating place. Can tell it's a famous eating place as the inside of the restaurant is all full and we were given an outdoor seat.

The staff are nice and friendly and we could refill the soup anytime without having to pay extra charges. The pork ribs are cooked until nice and tender and dip into the soy sauce with chili padi. I love their preserved salted vegetable too. The fried dough is meant to be dipped into the soup and not eaten as it is as it has already turned soft and soggy.

end the week with a Chili Crab dinner...
Smile 2011-09-16

The Kelong by No Signboard Seafood Restaurant ( Mohammed Sultan )
CHILI CRAB....Every seafood dinner that we we can't afford to missed on a Chili crab The chilli crab from No Signboard certainly did not disappoint, and Iet's say it's even better than the one I had from other seafood resto's I've tried...
Not to mention the ambience here is nice and less crowds...There's also semi-private areas for families to dine in, though these can be somewhat warmer because of the lighting. Service here is tops as well, with the wait staff and manager being very accommodative with special requests and with any other help with the menu. We were definitely off to a good start.
