One of my favourite chinese restaurants, food is affordable and great-tasting.

Go for the prawn ball with mayo sauce (prawns are juicy and fresh),vegetables with salted and century eggs (a yummy surprise combination),tofu on sizzling plate and of course, their signature roasted duck.

Sunset Grill OK Jun 27, 2011

A nice place to chill out with friends over beers with its old-school and relaxed atmosphere.

We tried the famous buffalo wings which can go up to level 30 in terms of spiciness. Since it's our first time trying,we went for level 3 as recommended by the staff. For me,level 3 is already very spicy! I do not like the spices as it overwhelm the taste of the chicken. I do not mind eating spicy stuff but this dish makes me feel like I'm eating the chilli not the chicken.

The other stuff we ordered such as mini chicken burgers, fried button mushrooms and calamaris were average-tasting.

I love my seafood platter!! I love everything in the platter- The crunchy cajun fries, buttery rice with raisins, calamaris, grilled prawns and tender fish.

The staff had forgotten my request to change the grilled calamaris to fried ones so when I gave my feedback, they quickly serve another serving of fried calamaris without extra charge.

My friend ordered the pasta & shrimp salad which can serve as a main course itself. The shrimps were fresh and spaghetti is not soggy nor over-cooked. Not bad! I always order the Big drinks and my favourite is Sharkie Freeze!

One of the worst Jap food! Cry Jun 27, 2011

I dont know what's the fuss about MOF. After one time of dining there,I swear to myself I won't go back there again.

My main course was the curry rice with ebi tempura. Taste like those packet curries.Nothing spectacular. We ordered salmon belly,a sizzling plate of pork cutlet and tori karaage as side dishes.

The salmon belly is the best of everything we've ordered but the portion was really small. The Tori Karaage is normal, just fried chicken pieces but portion was even smaller(see picture). The pork cutlet still had this "pork" smell. Terrible!

Desserts was still ok but I don't really fancy Jap desserts so no comments about that.

The place for nice creamy hot soups! I'm in love with the mushroom soup....fattening & creamy but taste so good!

I prefer the puff pastry instead of the bread bowl. The bread bowl is too big and I couldn't finish even 1/2 of the bread.

The fried mushrooms we ordered were really juicy too! Nice!
