We exchanged Udders coupons with two scoops of ice cream, baileys and durian. We didn't tried the mao shan wang because the coupon is only valid for classic and premium type. I think we have to top up a few dollars for the connoisseur (mao san wang) so we just got the normal ones. The classic durian was good enough for me though. I greatly recommend Udders ice cream for everyone! smile

Wendy's the Girl for me! Smile Jan 08, 2012

What else can I say Wendy's burgers have never failed to disappoint me. Though much could still be improved. However, it more than made it up with it's Beef Chili.
Beef Chili

Beef Chili

The beef chili presented itself as a soup-like dish. It was not spicy at all, but flavorful nonetheless. The croutons were a great addition to the dish, providing the much needed variation in texture. Every spoonful was well-loved, with its generous serving of beef and kidney beans. Definitely worth switching your fries for one of these!

Pizzeria Giardino

Pizzeria Giardino

Romance is in the evening air at Chijmes. Sitting near the bar allows the diner to fully absorb the magical surroundings.
Quattro Formaggi

Quattro Formaggi

Pizza is the restaurant's specialty. Being huge fans of cheese, we ordered a four cheese pizza. The moment it arrived, we could detect the rich smell of cheese present in that smoking hot pizza. Though slightly salty, it more than made up for its flaw with the mixture of flavors that constantly danced around our tongues.

Definitely worth every single cent!

Mei Hong Yuen Dessert

Mei Hong Yuen Dessert

A visit to Chinatown is never complete without patronizing Mei Heong Yuen Dessert shop. In it, there are 2 desserts that are worth a try.
Almond, Black Sesame Paste

Almond, Black Sesame Paste

Mango Pomelo with Sago

Mango Pomelo with Sago

Depending on how you like your desserts to be served, be it hot or cold or even both, we ordered a hot mixture of sesame with almond paste as well as an icy cold mango pomelo with sago. The fragrance of the almond is almost simple - pleasant and bland. The mango paste is sweet but not too rich, with its tinge of sourness.

The dessert stall has my favorite snow ice desserts too, but we decided to ordered the traditional ones.

Beef Stew

Beef Stew

Huge chunks of fat juicy tender beef or sweet crunchy carrot, there is simply goodness in every bite, how can you just not order that! The mash potato tastes like those instant sachets you can easily find at supermarket. There is a distinct difference in taste between a whole potato and that found in the dish. However, the mash potato still tastes as great, or maybe even better, than a whole potato.
Ribeye Steak

Ribeye Steak

Ribeye steak dominates almost every western menu, but the Japanese indeed does it differently. With it's DIY cooking, diners are provided with a virtually customizable doneness of the meat. Perfect for diners who love that perfect tenderness!
