This is one hot mee sua stall at Bedok Blk 511. It is very popular and one has to wait for about 20-30 mins on busy nights. Even though the price has increased to $4 from $3, this has not affected its popularity with its customers at all.

I love to choose pork meat with liver. The soup can be rather spicy at times and it makes me feel heaty at times. However, I simply love to eat it with my favourite stingray anytime!

Our initial intention was to have our lunch at ichiban boshi. However, i was attracted by the offer at Kabe no Ana. WIth $8.90 spaghetti as main, we could choose a side at extra $3, a drink at extra $2 or ice cream at extra $2.

I ordered Ojisan Idol (assorted seafood, radish sprouts and seaweed tossed with garlic butter sauce) with Tori Karaage (fried chicken) while my bf chose Mentaiko Carbonara (bacon and poached egg in spicy cod roe carbonara sauce) with fried potato with mentai.
The service was also very attentive as she offered plain water when she realized we had yet to be served with.

Overall, I was really glad that we had our lunch here and it definitely deserved a thumbs-up for its oishii set lunches~

What caught my attention about this stall was the cute little pig logo on the signboard. Then looking at the interesting menu simply made my mouth water as I was actually searching for a dinner venue. Thus, my bf and I decided to settle in at Mookata.

This looked like a typical BBQ shop except that it has an interesting concept - the stove in which we had to cook our food had a dome-like part on it where we were supposed to cook our food. And pieces of pork lard were given to us as, you know, oil. While cooking all the meat and stuff, the tasty juice secreted would flow down and we would have a thick yummy broth at the end. And did I mention that the heat came from charcoal which lasted us for about nearly 2 hrs!

The quality of food was also there, unlike some BBQ stops which serve cheap ingredients. This was ala carte buffet style so there were many other ingredients to order just in case the one in the set was not filling enough. My bf decided to order his favourite quail eggs and we had a fun time balancing them on top of the dome!

This shop just opened not long ago and I'll definitely recommend my friends to go there. Thumbs up!

I simply love Edo Sushi because of its 9pm half-price sale! There would be people already waiting around the store at about 8.45pm daily, looking at the available sushis and waiting to pounce any moment. I have to admit I'm one of them.

The sushi still taste fresh even till then. I'll grab all those with sashimi and I simply love those value packs which contain a variety of sushis for me to choose from. I can always manage to buy more than $6 (that's the minimum amount one have to spend to get the half price deal) and take home one bagful of sushi for less than $10. Now that's what I call value for money!

Starbucks Coffee is one of those cozy places where one can chill put with friends and have great coffee. So there I was at one of its outlets, planning to order something different.

Java Chip Frappe seemed interesting so I decided to order a grande one, without my usual favourite whipped cream. It was not a bad choice after all, with a strong taste of coffee without it being 'ruined' by the sweet taste of whipped cream. A refreshing coffee drink to add into my order list in future visits.
