Nonya Kueh  Smile Dec 30, 2010   (Related Review)

The blue nonya kueh consists of two layers. One layer was the glutinous rice that has a light blue colour and it was topped with a generous layer of the grated coconut that has been cooked in coconut sugar. The colour glutinous rice taste slightly saltish but the sweetness of the grated coconut create a good balance between the two distinct flavours. As for the yellow kueh,it also have nine layers on it. Just the different in colours compared with the nine layers kueh. And similar in taste with the nine layers kueh too.

The porridge in crystal jade was one of the nicest one I ever try. And my favourite was the roasted duck with chicken in porridge. The porridge was well cooked and soft as in the cantonese style of cooking. With generous roasted duck meat and chicken in the porridge,no wonder it makes it so outstanding. As for their char siew chang fun,it was soft and wrapped with good amount of the char siew too. It was really nice and tasty. smile Can try,go try, must try !

It was the heart shaped bread which caught my attention as I passed by their outlet in hougang point this morning. Taking a closer look,Oh..it's blueberry bread with raisin on it and I bought one to try. The heart shaped bread was loaded with thick layers of blueberry fillings in the centre and topped with icing sugar. And with lots of raisins on the bread too. It was soft and freshly baked. I like it smile)

Mushroom Swiss Burger Smile Dec 30, 2010

The mushroom swiss burger in burger king was one of the kind I simply cannot resist it. The sesame seed bun was soft and loaded with the single beef patty, topped with generous sliced mushroom and sauce make it a feast for my tummy. It was so nice and one bite of it,the tastefully grilled beef patty with cheese and mushroom immediately melted in my mouth. The burger king fries was nicely fried, not too oily and taste good too with their chilli or tomato sauce. Hurray for Burger King tongue

This was the first time I try their chicken shredded hor fun and that was fantastic. The stall owner gave a big packet of the hor fun with lots of the gravy inside. Not only that, they gave alot of the shredded chicken meat, vegetables and three mushrooms. It cost only $2.50 for the chicken shredded hor fun. Wow,I had a very very satisfaction and nice lunch today. So much in love with the "Ji Shi Hor Fun." It's super tasty! smile
