Shui Kueh

This local snack is most commonly eaten as a breakfast item but I think it’s so good that it should be eaten at ALL times of the day. Chwee Kuehs are made of rice flour and water mixture which is then steamed in these aluminum molds that give them their signature shape. The cakes are then topped with preserved radish (chye poh) and if you like, eaten with lots of spicy and sweet chili sauce.
