Oh wells, another overrated chicken rice stall. I am a chicken rice fanatic and I thought the challenge with Michelin Star chef will make it somehow... memorable. But no, this is just another normal tasting chicken rice to me. I had the chicken drumstick rice during their lunch peak hour. Queued for about 20 minutes before I got my plate of rice, top with boneless drumstick meat. Not sure if it's because I am fussy but I think that their rice is lacking that kind of... fragrance which will make the rice extraordinary. The meat is alright, tender though. The chili and soup are both... normal though. Not saying this chicken rice is not good, but it just doesn't justify the queue time and "popularity" it has.

Never know there's a thai steamboat actually before it was introduced by my friends. So off we went to this "authentic" thai steamboat place in Joo Chiat, Mookata. Heard there's a lot of recommendation by the foodie people so I guess nothing could have gone wrong. The place is quite spacious but a little stuffy when there's full crowd. Food wise is not bad, the buffet spread have got those essential food available like meat, seafood and vegetables. The dipping sauce is kinda unique as I heard it is something special and home made by the restaurant. Feel very full after the whole thing so I guess it's pretty much okay for me, not exactly a wow factor for me.
