I recently went to Fika Swedish Cafe for my Birthday celebration. I wanted to try something different for to mark another year of my life. Fika seems a great choice given that it is a Swedish Cafe and i have not tried Swedish food before. It is centrally located and the ambience is just nice. I recently went to Fika Swedish Cafe for my Birthday celebration.
I wanted to try something different for to mark another year of my life.

Fika seems a great choice given that it is a Swedish Cafe and i have not tried Swedish food before.
It is centrally located and the ambience is just nice.

We went over for lunch on a Monday and there were already 3 groups having their lunch there.

Ambience: It is a quaint and cosy place and the decoration is really nice, made up of mostly white furniture.

Food: We ordered the Grilled Salmon and the Swedish Meatballs.
The Grilled Salmon is nothing to be raved about however i love the Meatballs!

My Fiance first thought the serving won't be enough for him cos there werent many meatballs anyway
but boy were we surprised at how full we were.

But then again, it could be the potatoes we ate (we ate lots of it!)

We also order the Cheesy Wedges and it does taste great but not as different as any wedges served in other western stalls.

The Mushroom soup was great though and totally handmade.

It was an overall good experience but i don't feel it is any different from any other western restaurants.

However, i would come back because of the good service and the ambience.
