This restaurant has just opened at Valley Point which underwent major renovations recently. They have another outlet which is located at MBFC.As it was a weekend, they had a weekend brunch menu.My lunch group had the following:- English Breakfast: $18 - Fried Eggs, Bacon, Mini Bratwursts, hash brown, button mushrooms, grilled tomato and smoky baked beans. You get everything that's cooked together in a frying pan, just like how you will cook it at home.- Smoked Salmon: $16 - Scrambled Eggs with cut cmoked salmon, goat cheese and green pesto on thick cut toast. Ladies will love this, cos its healthy!- Breakfast Roll with Sausage, Egg and Bacon: $9 - This was my favorite dish of all. It has all my favorite things: sausage, crambled eggs and bacon! I loved the scrambled eggs which was well done and eaten with the bacon, it was heavenly.- Brunch Beef Burger: $19 - Fried Egg, Bacon, Avocado, Chipotle mayo, Rocket and Onion Chutney - This was very good. The beef patty was thick and juicy. The avocado added a nice flavour to the burger. The burger stands at about 7cm tall. The fries were hand cut and nicely fried.- Banana Caramel Waffle: $8 - Freshly baked waffle with Honeycomb toffee ice cream, chocolate sauce and toasted almonds. Hot waffles that went well with the ice cream. What I like about the food portions is that the portions are good-sized and very filling. The restaurant sells wines by the bottle. But what stands out here are wines from the barrel. They have 3 different wines from Veneto, Italy:- Pinot Grigio, Montelvini- Prosecco Giera, Montelvini- Merlot-Carbenet, MontelviniI ordered the Pinot Grigio (white wine) and the Merlot-Carbenet (red wine). The wines tasted fresh and definitely value for money, if you order by the carafe. A 750ml carafe cost $46.80, compared to $50 - 70 per bottle of wine.Happy Hour prices for the wines (till 9pm): Glass at $9.80, Carafes: 375ml @ $23.80, 750ml @ $46.80 and 1.2litre @ $72.80They also have Paulaner beer on draught.Highly Recommended! continue reading
