Full Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry review here: http://ivanteh-runningman.blogspot.sg/2014/05/ritz-apple-strudel-pastry.htmlIn 2000, Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry brought the Austria classic apple strudel dessert to the shores of Singapore. Known for their freshly made desserts, Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry focuses mainly on desserts for takeaway, rather than dining in.Thus, ambience at Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry is often the bare minimum, with some functional furniture, but not much decor or lighting to speak of. The main attraction is their large, brightly lit display, with all their wares within.Service is also very quick, staff normally attend to you immediately, and orders are fulfilled in a matter of minutes. Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry also offers a delivery service, from their 9 outlets islandwide.Besides the apple strudel, Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry is also known for their light and sweet custard puffs, and eclairs. Prices at Ritz Apple Strudel & Pastry are reasonable and affordable, and portions are nicely sized. The classic Austria style Apple Strudel (SGD $4.50), with sweet flaky puff pastry that just shatters when cut, with a filling of light, sweet yellow custard, and fresh cubes of apples. Excellent! continue reading

Was at the opp shophouses to have our dinner and we saw Ritz Apple Studel & Pastry shop is still open, therefore we cross the road to come over. There are air-conditioner and non air-conditioner seats but we chose the air-conditioner ones. We ordered for the durian strudel (small size) which is less than $5. It tastes really yumms because the durian is of the real fruit and the pastry on the outside is thin and crispy! Worth trying. continue reading

I was craving for a strudel and happened to pass by the new food haunt of Upper Thomson. Lo and behold there was Ritz Apple Strudel and Pastry. I decided to try the strawberry strudel after seeing quite a few buy it. The verdict? It wasn't too bad. The strudel was sufficiently crunchy although the strawberry taste could well have been richer and thicker. We ordered two pieces and it was just enough for 3 persons to share. continue reading

Today mother has bought a box of durian strudel in the afternoon for $5.30 and left a slice for me. I could smell it the moment I open the fridge. As you could see from the picture, the pastry is filled with thick amount of durian filling. The filling tastes very creamy of fresh durian fresh. So sniok! The puff pastry holding the filling is very light, crispy and sweet. continue reading

Phone Ritz to order durian strudel for my family. This time, I have ordered the foot long durian strudel to share among ourselves. And it is durian flavoured. We had tried apple, durian mini strudel from Ritz when they hold those roadshows at shopping malls. I will always make it a point to buy some when they come by my neighbourhood shopping mall. Durian strudel is still crowned as number 1 in my family. The durian fillings within the strudel are thick and the crust is crispy. That's the way a strudel should taste like! continue reading
