With mega food mall close, I had no choice but to head to banquet for my dinner. Just as I expected, it was very crowded and it took us sometime to find a seat. When we finally found a seat, I was absolutely hungry and can eat a cow. After looking around, I settled for Korean food. Their Korean food was rather expensive as compared to the one at mega food mall so I ordered their chicken bowl. Instead of serving my chicken on a hot plate, it was served in a bowl. I was pretty disappointed with the rice, apparently it did not taste like the Korean rice where it is sticky and soft. Their rice tasted more like the normal rice we cook at home. The chicken was quite ok though, it was marinated with this spicy bulgogi sauce. The meat was tender and very tasty. They served it with two side dishes, kimchi and anchovies. The kimchi was a little spicy for me but the cabbage did taste crunchy and juicy. As a whole, it was ok but could be better if they had used Korean rice. continue reading

Another bibimbap that is satisfactory to me. This uncle is very generous! You can see from the large serving of the ingredients that i have received in the picture. Many many. So many that i could not finish the whole bowl. So for big eaters who loves korean food, you can try having your meal here one day! One bowl is enough! No need to extra rice or what not. continue reading
