There is a significant drop in the standard of this korean food stall. This was my second time having the spicy chicken with rice in this coffee shop but the taste was a disappointment. The kimchi tasted odd, it seemed not too fresh. The soup that came with the set tasted very bland. The spicy chicken tasted passable but still disappointing as compared to the earlier experience. It would be the last time to dine here. continue reading

Whenever i pass by the Blk 727 coffee shop, there will always be people ordering the grill fish from the Korean Food stall. Since it was not peak hour and there are plenty of places in the coffee shop, i decided to order myself a hotplate grill fish and rice. The grilled fish was nicely season with salt and pepper. The fish is actually only half a fish but the bones have been remove. It taste good with the rice. continue reading

This was my first time ordering a Korean BBQ Saba Fish set. The Saba Fish itself is $4.80 but if go with the choice of fish, pork or chicken then it would be $5.50. I ordered the Saba Fish with Chicken set. The set came with kimchi and fried ikan belis together with a bowl of lukewarm soup. My first experience with a Korean BBQ Saba Fish was a pleasant one. I was expected to first squeezed the lemon wedge over the fish before started eating. I liked how the fish was barbecued to give it a nicely crisp texture and the right saltiness level. The chicken slices fried with onion and placed on some shredded cabbage. It was supposed to taste spicy but it was not quite. It just tasted mediocre. I would rather go without it.It was still a pleasant dinner after all. continue reading

The stall looks quite presentable, but empty though, not many customers in the late noon, ate bibimbap and came with this small bowl of kimchi. Fragrance is nice (got bbq smell), quite decent amount of rice (filling too), vegetables and egg was fresh (quite alot of ingredients), beef was quite tasty (tender), kimchi was quite spicy but not soggy. Service was average, overall: good food continue reading

There was once my sis decided to drive us to this korean stall inside of the another one nearby that we always used to eat. I was reluctant at first but after tasting the kimchi, i would always want to go there. The food are okay so the reason why i frequent them now is because AUNTIE, KIM CHI TAKE AWAY PLEASE. The kimchi is delicious and cost only 8/kg. Can you believe it!?!? continue reading
