If you like western food, you must try ASTONS.It's a place for cheaper westernized and quality + quantity food. You'll definitely be full after your meal. For me, i always order teriyaki chicken or grilled fish. All the main course comes with 2 side dishes, you can choose from tasty rice, french fries, potato salad, green salad and more. Alot of varieties and prices ranges from $6 to $8. So it's quite affordable. Other than that, the staffs at yewtee's outlet are quite friendly. Service is good however waiting time is sometimes abit longer due to the crowd. continue reading

My girlfriend and I could not decide what to have for dinner, so we chose the safest choice Astons for dinner. we ordered their hickory bbq chicken with corn on the cob and potato salad. Their chicken has always hit the spot and been cooked perfectly. However, when we cut the first slice, it was pinkish, kind of raw. I thought could be only that part was uncooked so I cut the other parts, it was still ok. Until when I reach the centre of the piece, it was pink too, raw like my first slice. I brought the plate to the counter to ask them to change the chicken for us as we barely eaten and most of it was uncooked. We waited a while and the manager served us back the plate. Apparently his cook cut of all the uncooked parts and added more sauce on our cooked part and served it back to us, it was so pathetic. When we ask the manager what was it, he said he don’t know and his staff as him to serve us. He said he will change us a new set but after giving them a second chance to make things right, we were no longer confident in their food. So we ask for a refund and left. I am so disappointed with this branch, don’t think I will ever come to this branch again. continue reading

The astons outlet in food courts are a dollar cheaper than those in the restaurant and you have no reason not to give it a try. I ordered the black pepper chicken with pasta salad and fries. The chicken was tender and the black pepper was not too spicy. Fries was crispy and good. Pasta salad was okay. It costs only $5.90, cheap and good. The only problem is that they take really long to prepare. By the time my food arrived, my friends who ordered other food were already half way through theirs. continue reading

I love Aston's. Whenever I visit their express stall, I only order one thing: Hickory BBQ Chicken. For only 5.90, it already comes with two side dishes with choices such as green veggies, baked or mashed potato, and many more. With Aston's you can always be sure that the portions are worth the price. If you're a light eater, it's gonna be big enough for 2. Their chickens are so so soft and it's heavily dressed with the sauce, which I like. The sauce has just the perfect amount of sweetness which complements the grilled chicken very well. I have yet to try their other dishes, but for now, I am very much contented with their Hickory BBQ Chicken. continue reading

You know it's Astons when you feel like dining out on a budget. Islandwide but the one we went to is located as a western food stall in a food court at Yew Tee. Astons maintains its taste at any outlet(at least for me so far) and I really like that fact. A piece of main with 2 sides ranging from 5.90$. For me I'd usually take the Garden Veggies and a fried item, either the fries or onion rings. That afternoon, my boyfriend and I both had the chicken chop and it was tasty as normal. The teriyaki was good, the lemon lime was better. Down side was that it took them 25 minutes, I understand it takes time to grill the chicken but patient customers could become impatient customers sometimes too.Tried the sirloin steak another day for dinner. Came out almost well-done despite ordering a medium. Oh well. For what it was worth, food for value. continue reading
