My first time to order Hot Pot Fish Soup in Foodcourt, it was amazing looking. The queue was quite lengthy during dinner time, yet the waiting time still acceptable. It was one of my favourite soups, the sweetness came from the fresh fish. Just like an upgraded version of normal fish soup, it was served in a pipping hot pot with the soup was still boiling. Portion was all right, I did not order extra rice or noodles. Lots of veggies and seafoods inside to soup, it was sufficient to satisfy my craving. Foodcourt price, it was reasonable. continue reading

Decided to try the fish soup here, which seems pretty popular with the lunch crowd. Me & my companion unwittingly sat at the kids' section of the food fare foodcourt. Only later did we realise that the stools and tables were unusually short and there were tv screens in front of us showing cartoons...LOLAnyway, the fish soup was not too bad. The soup base was what you expect from most of the ordinary fish soup stalls out there - there's a bit of taste, but nothing spectacular. At least this stall gave a bit of tomato and seaweed. Fish also tasted ok. Generally nothing to shout about, but still acceptable as a daily meal if you are a fish soup lover and there's not many choices around. Fried fish soup - $4 continue reading

Fish soup is my all times favourite choice in foodcourt. Whenever I lost idea of what to eat, I just choose fish soup with rice, it solves my indecision of food issue.Having patronised this stall for a few times, short queue is expected during peak time. I like my fish soup with non-fried fish slices and clear soup base. Then I can taste the original flavour. Their fish slices are fresh without fishy smell and generous cut in size. Soup is light and tasty. Furthermore, they give sufficient vegetables, bean curd and seaweed, it makes up the value. That is the main reason for my returning to them. continue reading

This is a popular fish soup stall in this food centre. There is always a queue during lunch and dinner. They fried the fish then served it in the milky soup with dried seaweed and tomato. The fish will then absorded the soup and tasted good that way. The portion of fish has getting lesser in my last visit. Though it still tasted quite good but i do not think i will visit that often now. continue reading

I used to come here quite often to have fried fish soup for lunch. The portion of the fried fish given has been reduced. With the same amount paid, we get lesser pieces of the fried fish. The size of the fried fish has been reduced too. Now, we get smaller pieces of fried fish as well. If the fried fish is slightly bigger piece then they will have it cut into 2 to take it as 2 pieces. It still tasted good but i do not come here as often as before. I always prefer to have milk added to my fried fish soup and i like to have it with rice rather than the thick bee hoon. continue reading
