I was at Lot one running some errands and decided to da bao my lunch back home as i didnt want to wait for seat during the busy and crowded lunch hour.Well, the laksa here was nice despite of the travelling time back home and the 'not so nice' pic. The laksa gravy was tasty but quite thick. It was quite spicy also but it was shiok to have that. I quite like the ingredients used, It was rather fresh especially the tau pok, it was delicious. The thick mee hoon tasted smooth and springy despite of the travelling time. It was a rather nice laksa. continue reading

I was not feeling so hungry so I decided to get some simple food from fei siong. I bought their budget bee hoon and curry vegetable set. It only cost me $2. The bee hoon was seasoned quite well. It was very tasty on its own. The curry vegetables were a little spicy though. It was cooked until the vegetables were kind of soft, no longer crunchy, but it was good. Went well with the bee hoon. The portion was quite a lot for $2. Really worth it. continue reading

sometimes shopping mall food can get a little pricey... even a meal at the food court can cost up to $6 per meal. was looking around lot one for some budget food and came across fei siong. it is the economic bee hoon style. i ordered bee hoon and their fried fish cake along with taiwanese sausage, the meal did not cost much, however i compromised on the health aspect. all of the ingredients were deep fried. the taiwanese sausage was a little oily but juicy, the fishcake was good! very tasty!!!the shopkeeper was very friendly and help to cut the ingredient to smaller bite size pieces. an ideal food when u are on a tight budget! continue reading
