Signature Dishes
Fish burger is so much better than Mcdonalds`. Fillet is crispy on the outside. It is a bit salty though.You can choose salad as a side dish. Quite healthy option. basically just lots of vegetables with their given dressing. The chicken is a bit dry. It`s quite fun to bite the bones though. Comparing with KFC, i think KFC is better. They have given quite a generous portion of sauce. simply delicious. After we we finished the fries, we used it as a dipping sauce for the chicken.

Was craving something salty and spicy (and unhealthy) so decided to drop by Wendy's for lunch. Ordered the spicy chicken burger with fries and orange juice. It is not unknown that the meat portion in Wendy's burgers are small and this was no exception. However, taste was still really good and if not for their small portions, I would definitely visit Wendy's more often. (Used to despise Wendy's since I first tried them a few years ago and this is my second visit!) Their orange juice is not bad, should totally change your soft drinks to orange juice with just 50cents. Initially wanted the baked potato but the cashier didn't let me change it. Bad service attitude! He didn't allow me to complete my order then just entered everything into the system. Just managed to change my drink to orange juice right before he hit enter ):< Really pissed that day because I ordered the set to try their baked potato because heard that it is not bad... When I requested to change the fries to baked potato, the cashier just picked up the receipt and waved it at me, how rude! At least saying something along the lines of "Sorry I already entered it into the system' would have been infinitely better. Will definitely avoid such rude cashiers in future if I ever crave for something spicy and salty and unhealthy again.

Wendy's is the only economical burger joint that gives customers a choice of seafood burgers ~ hoki fish, codfish, salmon and shrimp. The Combo Meals which come with Wendy's signature medium cut fries and a big cup of iced tea or soda are good value. We ordered the codfish burger combo and the shrimp burger combo.The codfish patty was lightly battered and deepfried, then sandwiched in between a bigger than average hamburger bun. It was hearty and filling but just a tad too greasy. Adding a tart dill pickle would have moderated the richness of the omega oil-rich codfish patty. The shrimp burger was excellent ~ a big patty of juicy minced fresh shrimp coated with a thin layer of fragrant crisp breadcrumbs. This got me hooked, the breaded shrimp burger was so good I could eat it without any sauce or cheese. Wendy's medium cut fries were very good too, as was our add-on of a side salad which was fresh and crisp; loved the crunchy croutons in the salad too.We had their soft serve ice cream cone for dessert ~ a luciously creamy and chocolatey twirl of ice cream on a good quality, crispy cocoa cone. Fitting end to our hearty dinner.

Wendy's serves not bad breakfast as far as I know. I tried it for the first time, and ordered the Biscuit with sausage and cheese ($6.85) that comes with hash brown , and Coffee. It's a shame that they don't serve just the bun and drink without the hash brown, just like other fast food chain, as I'm not a huge hash brown fans. Anyway, I do like the biscuit bun! It's unique, full of buttery flavour and crispy in texture. It actually tastes quite well together with the savouries. Simple yet satisfying meal indeed.

I had the Shrimp sandwich combo set ($6.95) consists of shrimp burger, side dish and a drink. I'm very impressed by the fact that I can choose garden salad instead of the fries for side dish. The shrimp sandwich is tasty, the shrimp patties is deep-fried till very crispy and has good flavour, though there isn't much sauce on it.I also ordered the six pieces of chicken nuggets ($4.4). Again, very crispy and could be very addictive.
