Signature Dishes
I went to Swensen's with my colleagues for lunch just yesterday. I saw another customer having the bread bowl which looks very warming to the stomach so I decided to order that as well. The bread bowl is made using sourdough bread which is much healthier and tastier than normal white bread. I opted for the clam chowder soup for my bread bowl. The clam chowder has clams, bits of carrots, potatos in it. The soup is quite delicious. It is not too thick or diluted and the soup is also not too overly creamy such that you get sick of the taste after a few mouthfuls. I had no difficulty in finishing the soup as the sourdough bread bowl is a good pairing to the taste of the creamy soup. It is very filling, so I would advise ladies to share if they do not have a large appetite.

After walking a few hours, we decided to take break and enjoy a cold drink. Iced Lemon tea was very popular at most of the café and restaurant. The reason was because it was sweet and slightly sour with the dashed of lemon.Swensen’s was famous in selling dessert such as ice-cream and blended drinks. While, I ordered Iced lemon tea instead. It was the most effective drink which I can get rid of my thirsty within a quick moment. The price was reasonable $2.80 for a cup of refreshing Lemon Tea.

went to Swensen's restaurant for celebrate my colleague birthday.the main point we came here,is because of the ice cream.we reach there about 7pm and there were many peoples in the restaurant. lucky we already call and book the table, so no need to queue up and waiting for a long hour. the service of the waitress was very nice and friendly, and help us took picture, introduce some famous food to us.i choose to eat pasta with prawn.when the food come, the pasta is nice,but the prawn are not fresh and the meat too hard to bite.after our dinner, we choose 5 flavor ice cream. we had chosen the flavor of cookie of cream, mango , strawberry,durian,chocolate. the durian flavor very nice,and the taste really same like eating a real durian.

Went to Swensen's for my birthday! <3 and had this delicious BBQ half-chicken. It liiks small though... But its nice~ the flavors is there! It's AWESOME!!! though the chicken is a bit dry. But it's alright! I was entitled to a free fire house sundae! BECAUSE ITS MY BIRTHDAY!! <3 <3 <3 I got to pick the 3 balls of ice-cream! i picked minty,cookie and cream and chocolate. Thought this seems like a weird combination... but its nice! i like the mint best! cause of the cooling after effect! hee the cookie and cream is good but not the best... The chocolate is creamy! and nice. But i don't like the whipped cream:/ YUCK... perhaps its cause i never like whipped cream

I don't know what to say. This is by far the most delicious yet sinful dessert EVER. perfect for chocolate lovers. I went =O just by looking at it! The chocolate sauce was thick and creamy and just delicious. The cookies n cream ice cream cake kinda balanced off the flavour. Perfect for hot weather. Really won't mind coming back for more!
