I come here quite often to have dinner with my family. We usually ordered a quarter of roasted duck and a plate of char siew or roasted meat rice each. The roasted duck is not too dry but tender and juicy. We loved the roasted meat too. We tasted a bit salty but flavourful. The char siew has got a balance of lean and fat meat and not too sweet. This is a perfect place to eat roasted meats. continue reading

This is the place that i always come for roasted meat and char siew rice. This place offers one of the best for both roasted meat and char siew. I prefer the roasted meat to be a little fatter, i really do love that layer of fat with the layer of crispy skin that give its an oomph factor. The saltiness level is just right though. The rice here can be a little inconsistent, it can be a little hard at times. But it was nicely moist this time. I usually here for lunch or dinner and i will order a bowl of wanton or dumpling soup to go along. Recommended. continue reading

I always patronise Choo Chiang to satisfy my cravings for wanton noodles, they are near tpy central and is near to the bus interchange. The noodles is not soggy at all, they cooked it just right.I really like their roasted charsiew, very nicely flavoured with a bit of charred part. The wanton inside, when paired together with the noodle, tasted really good.I like their sambal chilli and green chilli to go along with my wanton noodle. continue reading
