Turns out that it's in the same family to Jack's Place. Food was just ok, but I was really happy with the service there. continue reading

The restaurant was located just behind the bus stop. The dining in area was big, and there was also a play area with toys for kids. If you are ITE staff, there is additional special discount.I ordered the Tea Time Combo ($11.80++) which came with a choice of selected main course and a choice of selected drink.Peach & Passion Twinings Tea (usual price $5.60++)The tea was served in pot, and tasted light and fruity.Chicken & Slipper Lobster Baked Rice (Usual Price $13.50++)Flavourful fried rice topped with hot melted cheese, chunky chicken slices and meaty slipper lobster meat slices. It was served with side salad and chips.Overall food was not bad and quite filling too. Service was not bad, although there was only service staffs around. The place was quiet and cozy. continue reading

I took my lunch at Eatzi Gourmet as I was lazy to walk out to eat. The restaurant was just a stone threw from my office. I ordered wedge potato and chicken burger. The potato was a full size and it was fried till golden. The potato roll was thick and no salt was added. The burger was about 5 cm height. Eggs and vegetables like tomatoes, lettuce were sandwiched in between the burger. The chicken was thick. There was a slice of cheese. In order to eat, I had to open my mouth wide to have a bite. What I love to see about this burger was the sunny side egg. The egg was lovely. The burger was dry. It had to add chilli sauce to moisturize the burger so that it would be easy to eat. The service at Eatzi Gourmet was slow. I don’t know the reason maybe the restaurant is shorthanded and in this Food and Beverage industry, there is a job demand. continue reading

I had been a regular visitor to Jack's Place and had always fancied the food. Eatzi Gourmet is kind of the Halal version of Jack's Place which they served almost the same menu. However, the standards really differ too much. Lobster Bisque - Way too watery and salty. The soup tasted too prawny like almost abit fishy. Totally different from the one that i usually had at Jack's Place. Lamb Shank - tasted ok but was disappointed that the mashed potato that was served together had turned sour.Verdict : Visit to Jack's Place, Yes. Coming back here? NO. continue reading

The chicken portion is kind of small and thin for $14 and the meat tasted bland like without any marination done before hand. However, it was quite moist and tender. The mushroom sauce is quite tasty which helped enhance the taste of the chicken, though I wish there was more of the sauce to go around. The baked potato side is cooked just nice with the right texture, not too soft nor too hard, not bad. continue reading
