This is so far one of the best Tom Yum steamboat that I have tasted so far. They have 2 soup base for you to choose, chicken soup or tom yum soup. Their tom yum is nice with strong tom yum taste and even when you top up soup, the taste is still the same as they don't top up the soup with plain water or other soup.I like their chili sauce, its sweet yet spicy.Apart from steamboat, they also have cooked food, we ordered a few items today.Lantern Chicken (灯笼鸡), quite nice, the skin is crispy and the inside is not chicken meat but fish paste. Nice combi.Hor fun, their hor fun not too bad, smooth and not salty. continue reading

I have tried the tom yam steamboat previously and I must say this is one of the best that I've tried so far. You can choose to have half a side with Tom Yam and the other with Chicken soup. Both are equally nice. However, the boss will always try to recommend the cooked food which are not found on the menu, To be honest, they are not really nice at all and the prices are hefty. Try the dumplings, thin-sliced pork and fried tau kee. Its usually crowded over the weekends. You may make reservations if you are going in one big group. continue reading

This is one of the best steamboat which I have ever tried in SG and the reason why it is so yummy is due to the soup base. Though the choice of soup base is kinda limited (there are only 2 choices - Tom Yam and/or Chicken soup), I believe you will not be disappointed after trying it. As for the choice of food, there is huge selection. I will recommend you to try my all time favourite shrimp dumpling ($6 for 6 pieces). If you do not like fatty meat, do not order the shabu shabu, as it is unlike those which is served in Japanese restaurants (it is not thinnly sliced and there is too much fats!) continue reading
