Signature Dishes
This store's rice is really really nice and fragrant. If you are chicken rice person who always like to order an extra bowl of rice, this stall is bound to hook you to it. The rice is not that oily and to me, has a little bit of sweetness in it. Too bad that the chicken was nothing special and the chilli was just okay.

The chicken rice at ntu canteen 2 is really very cheap and economical. They are very generous with their rice and chicken portion. I love to order their chicken rice set as it includes oyster vegetables as well. Making it a balanced meal. Their chili sauce is really good, goes very well with the rice and chicken. The chicken rice is not so oily, so not to fattening.

Whenever I don't feel too hungry, I would grab a packet/ plate of chicken rice from this stall at a price of two dollars! The portion is small but enough to fill my not-so-hungry tummy. The rice is acceptably fragrant. The chicken slices can be a little tough at times. They serve a side dish of cubed pickled vegetables including cucumbers, carrot and pineapple. The soup that day was quite bland, tasted like hot plain water. I did not touch it after the first try.

Canteen 2 is operated by a former student who resides in the current Hall 2 which was known as Hall 1 previously.The chicken rice is probably one of the best chicken rice in NTU. The rice is fragrant and not overly oily with the ability to taste the chicken essence in it. They provide a variety of choices from roasted chicken to roasted pork, Sides such as vegetables, eggs can also be added at an extra cost of only 50cents.
