Pour Yourself into Singapore Cocktail Week 2016

We often look forward to the weekends because that's when we get to rejuvenate ourselves by indulging in a drink or more with good company. But have you ever wondered about the preparation process behind your favourite cocktail concoction? If so, Singapore Cocktail Week 2016 is the perfect event for you. Even if the science behind cocktails doesn't peak your interest, there's no harm in grabbing your friends along and heading down for drinks at discounted prices! Organized by Curated Events, Singapore Cocktail Week 2016 is an 8-day festival returning bigger and better with more novel experiences such as supper clubs, cocktail brunches and restaurant bar takeovers.

Look out for over 10 acclaimed international and local bartenders, such as Steve Schneider, Dean Callan and Roman Foltan. A plethora of workshops will also be included in the itinerary, where drink enthusiasts get to gain all kinds of expertise like the making of craft cocktails at home, the history of cocktails and the like.

Just like last year, there will also be tours where participants can engage in close-up interaction with talented bartenders and revel in the intoxicating drinks that are conjured up. The Bar Awards, an affiliated event of Singapore Cocktail Week that pays homage to the talents of the cocktail industry, will also be re-established this year with new award categories such as “Best Young Bartender”.
