Nice Mutton Soup in town
Very reasonably priced at $3.20 (add $0.50 for a bowl of rice), New World mutton soup is concentrated with the desirable sweetness of mutton and the distinctive bitterness of herbs and spices, certainly appealing to die-hard mutton soup fans but probably not for the faint-hearted. The numerous pieces of mutton are indeed fleshy and tasty.

When I was young I did not really like the smell of mutton but as I grew older, I was exposed to more food, I started to like the smell and taste of mutton. This stall mutton soup is one of the reason why I love mutton. Their soup is so thick and tasty. It is very flavourful, seasoned with the right amount of salt and pepper. You can tell they put in a lot of effort in cooking the soup cos it simply taste so rich in flavour. The mutton is so tender and the herbal soup flavour had infused into the meat. The chilli here is mind blowing, very spicy but really goes well with the mutton. One mouth of soup, one mouth of the mutton with chilli is simply mind blowing.

Love the soup, love the ingredients, love the chilli!
Thick, flavourful but not overwhelming, the addition of vinegar helps to ease off the rather herbal taste.
Mutton meat is very tender and the bones are easily identified. If you accidentally chew on it, you won’t feel a thing either.
Chilli is spicy, spicy, SPICY! Power!

What more than an entire day of rain to suit a bowl of piping hot mutton soup? The soup is great and very flavourful. I was not able to stomach it at first as the soup was a little too bitter to me. However, after adding the white vinegar, the soup tasted sweeter and nicer. The tender meat makes the meal so much more comforting.

Now this is a good place for herbal soup lovers! The herbs tend to ease off the strong mutton smell and the vinegar helps for those who want to mild down the herbal base. The meat is soft, and the bones are easily separated. The soup is really really smooth and the presentation of it is not that bad. Sorry for the bad picture, just couldn't wait to dig in!
The chilli here makes you go on fire! A must for chilli lovers but I think I have low tolerance
