This a a stall at the Kovan Hawker Centre that only sells sugar cane juice and nothing else, and business is good too. I was feeling very thirsty that day and wanted some drink that is refreshing. I bought a cup of sugar cane juice, which is considerably huge a cup for $1.50. It wasn't so sweet as to taste artificial, and the amount of ice they included is just right so as not to make the drink too diluted. continue reading

If you are looking for a big cup of sugar cane juice, this stall sells them. Do not be deceived by the size of the cup. In terms of juice, this is the deal. There's pure sugar cane juice to nearly three quarters of the cup, with the remaining cup filled with ice. I asked for less ice and the stallowner happily obliged without charging me extra and filling it up instead with pure sugar cane juice. Excellent. continue reading

Nice and refreshing sugarcane juice from this stall!(:The large cup cost $1.20. Although other places’ large cup may be bigger, it is already more than enough for a whole meal if you are one who does not drink much when eating. The taste of sugarcane is rich and really thirst quenching;DEven though I left most of it until I finished my dinner, I could still taste the sugarcane sweetness and freshness.(:This is my second time buying from this stall. Would still buy from this stall the next time I dine at the food centre;D continue reading

Went to KOVAN food market althought it is a small Hawker Centre but it reflected our Singaporean life. After a long walk, i have a sugar cane drink at Cheng liang sugar cane drink.. the taste is OIISHI ! the drink do not have those leftover...as in if the stall owner keep on repeating squashing the sugar cane there will be a lot of substances in the drinks.. But for this stall, they will do filtering ....so it ensure that what u drink is only the WATER and not with the stalks of the sugar cane. it cost 80 cents for a small one $1.20 for a big size ... the price is quite economic furthermore, the stall looks very clean continue reading

The reason as to why I came to this stall was simple, the queue. I was sitting rather near to this stall and after 10 minutes, the crowed was still there. Must be good i thought to myself. After 3 minutes, I got myself the sugarcane juice. It tasted rather fresh and smooth. Their sugar canes seem darker than those conventional ones you usually see at hawker centres. Probably these are the fresher looking ones. continue reading
