In this small hawker centre at Holland Village, there was a nasi lemak stall at the corner with steady stream of queue.I had ordered nasi lemak with fried chicken, fried fish and chili egg plant. The rice was mild in coconut taste and aroma but it was cooked in right moist, not too soggy. The fried chicken was good and meaty. The battered skin tasted crispy and savoury, like mild prawn paste fried chicken wing. The meat was moist and tender. The fried fish was medium in size, meatier than those sell by Malay nasi lemak stalls.I liked the chili egg plant. It was juicy in the inside and the skin seems liked deep fried before. Though it was not much of spicy taste.Overall this nasi lemak was good and reasonable pricing among the surrounding high end restaurants.

I was craving for Nasi Lemak when looking for a place to eat dinner after walking about Holland Village and decided to have it. Okay, I cheated. I was with JF and he actually bought a plate of it first and seeing how yummy it looked I just had to get a plate of my own. And guess what? I really liked it. Nasi Lemak is one of those dishes that I will inevitably buy if I want my carbo and coconut fix. All things oily and cholestral-rich.Surprisingly, the Nasi Lemak here, sold by Chinese, is not oily and gives you a good variety of vegetables to choose from The sambal was delicious, not too spicy or sweet and the ikan bilis with peanuts was fresh and crunchy. There was no added sugar or salt to it.The chicken wing was not oil-drenched nor overly-battered and had a good taste. The omlette was fairly thick and satisfying. All this made for a satisfying meal that didn't leave me feeling I overdosed on oil and coconut
