order a $3 plate of hainanese chicken rice, the white meat, there also the roasted one instead of the steam, depend on your taste liking. they serve the chicken meat and the rice separately, and along with a bowl of soup, hot and taste like there herbs in the soup, but is clear soup, quite tasty compare to other, a different soup taste.the meat is quite tender, sauce taste just nice, but a little oily. however the black dark sauce is too watery, not the usual kind of thick sauce u get everything.

I wanted to order my usual chicken drumstick rice with a braised egg. I was told that they only left with chicken thigh. I agreed to have the thigh. I happened to come during the off peak period and the owner wanted to get rid of the remaining parts of the chicken before cut another one.The chicken thigh with braised egg rice is priced at $4.00. The owner did not do a good job in de-boning the chicken. Small pieces of bones can be found within the meat. The roasted chicken tasted just fine. It was passable though not outstanding. The rice was of the right texture with a nice hint of chicken stock. There are many better chicken rice out there at a slightly lower price so i doubt i would be back for more.
