Oyster Omelette
Review (5)
The crowd is still enthusiastically raging within this packed pavillion at eight in the evening. Many people were standing around waiting for a seat, while exerting eyepower at those who have already finished their food. In the sweltering heat, you might think some people would retreat into the cooling restaurants or bars nearby, but no - plenty swarmed around and waited for a place.Obligatory dish at any hawker feast: the oyster omelette ($8) was salty, pan-fried, fragrant wokhei, juicy, generous oysters portion and good ol' chilli. Nothing out of the ordinary, 100% comforting. I'm a Singaporean girl yo! It's not the best, which I think still belongs to Geylang's oyster omelette, but it's closeeee. Very close!A meal for two people and this is... a little bit of over-ordering, but how can anyone resist? It's like putting a girl in the middle of the ultimate shopping sales. Indulging. continue reading

Supper at Chomp Chomp will order the Fried Oyster Omelette from this stall.Their cooking ang recipe has never change for years.Super delicious oyster omelette. They have order from $4,$5,$6,$7,$8.I order a $5 plate.Abit pricey but I guess that is the selling price outside also.I tried the egg portion first, not too oily. Then I dipped the oyster in the chilli......hmm.....Fresh, juicy and big. Will never want to stop but I guess must not eat too much. Will never missed this stall when I go to Chomp Chomp again. continue reading

It’s an extremely sinful meal and the oiliness makes one give up eating half way BUT I can’t stop as much due to the chili (sourish, spicy) I’m not a fan of oyster but I love the eggs-and-flour mix.If you’re not petty about oysters and have the butts for good chili and well fried omelette. For this large portion, u can hardly find it at this price these days. Go try it! continue reading

There's not much stall selling fried oyster at chomp chomp. This is 1 stall i'm sure to visit, their fried oyster is not oily and what i like best is the way they fried it. They fried it crispy and the egg is more than the flour so the fried oyster is crispy and not soft. The chilli also is 1 thing i like about it, the chilli taste alittle sour and spicy the sourness is just right as is not all sour and cant taste any spicyness of the chilli so i must say their chilli is GOOD. But the the location is quite bad if it rain and the parking is 1 problem during sat and sunday night. This stall open at late afternoon only. Most of the stall open during late afternoon till night. ! 4/5 star for this fried oyster !!!! ! Must try is really worth it! continue reading
