Hello, New Cocktail Menu from Häagen-Dazs!

OpenRice was at the Häagen-Dazs Singapore cocktail menu launch party held at Clarke Quay Central Fountain. Singapore is the first country in Asia to introduce their brand new cocktail menu and we were invited to try.

The cocktail menu is available exclusively at Häagen-Dazs' Clarke Quay Café outlet. It consists of 5 unique concoctions which includes their signature ice-cream cocktails, sorbet-blended cocktails and liqueur coffee.

(Left): Experience the magic of a Mediterranean evening with Santorini Sunset ($16), a combination of Mango Sorbet, vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice. (Right): Roman Romance ($18) is a romantic fusion of Raspberry Sorbet, sparkling lemonade, lime juice, fresh strawberry and a shot of tequila - the perfect drink for that night out in town with your best friends.

(Left): Manhattan Moment ($16) is pure pleasure in a glass, made with rich Vanilla ice cream, fresh milk and Bailey's Irish Cream. (Right): For chocolate lovers, Venetian Velvet ($16) is a dream come true. A smooth concoction of Belgian Chocolate ice cream, fresh milk and Bailey's Irish Cream, this cocktail is rich, decadent and divine.

Irish Illusion ($11) is a rich and silky concoction of Vanilla ice cream, Espresso and Bailey's Irish Cream. Though each of these cocktail concoction has its own specialty, I've classified them into 3 different types: fruity cocktail, chocolate & cream and classic coffee. Each of the drinks will have its own group of fans as it brings out a different flavour. Alas, I couldn’t decide which my favourite as each tasted special in its unique way. If there is something positively delightful about enjoying summer cocktails with friends, imagine adding ice cream to the mix.
