Before the high tea buffet, the OpenRicers get busy with the ice breaker game
There was also an ice breaker game to cut the tension and help each of the OpenRicers get to know each other. As soon as they were already comfortable with each other, Karen Chang, Park Royal on Beach Road’s MarCom Manager, started the event by touring the OpenRicers to their different food counters: Deli, Salad, Japanese, Asian, Signature Mains, and Indian. If that wasn’t enough for our members, they also have a spread on the different types of cheese, Dim Sum, and Desserts.
After the short introduction, the OpenRicers were free to take whatever they wanted at the buffet feast. Not to be missed, of course, are their signature Soft Shell Crab with Tobiko Mayo, Braised Sea Cucumber with Roast Pork & Mushroom, and Fried Green Mussel with Sambal.
The Japanese lovers didn’t feel left out as the restaurant has a special section for them. Filled with all the freshest Sushi, Sashimi, Maki, and California Maki Hand Roll, the OpenRicers had their work cut out for them choosing what to put in their plates.
In addition, Karen also made everyone sample their new addition to the desserts list: the Carrot Cake! One of the invited guests mentioned that the carrot cake was tender and moist, the kind of cake which just seems to melt in your mouth. To end off the ORTU, they also sampled their signature mocha espresso drink and each of them were given with Plaza Brasserie dining vouchers!

The OpenRicers are all smiles as they pose for the group pic with their dining vouchers
Unlike other ORTUs we’ve had, the good thing about Plaza Brasserie is that’s it’s a Buffet Restaurant. So, all our invited guests could eat as much as they could for the whole event. Over all, the OpenRicers has a blast dining at Plaza Brasserie and can’t wait to come back for more food!
