Halloween is here to spook us once again. Whether you’re the type who lives to be terrified or the one who just wants to stay away from anything that will give you the goose bumps, Singapore has a lot of activities which will last you a lifetime of memories. From Halloween parties to horror houses to ghost trails in the cemetery, we’ve listed them down for you! Are you ready for it?
1. Zombie LandWhen: 26 October 2013, 9pm ‘til late
Where: Wave House Sentosa

It’s the first zombie-themed party in Singapore, and it’s all happening at Wave House Sentosa. Renowned international DJs Reid Stefan (USA/Island Def Jam) and DJ Ono (Thailand/Heavy Hitters) will be mixin’ some tunes, loud and hard enough to make the dead come to life on this very special night. Singapore’s very own DJ Stas (Mink, Fenix Room) will also be there to represent local talent.

2. Museum of Horrors: The TwinsWhen: 18 to 31 October 2013, 6pm to 11pm (extended ‘til 12am on the 31st October)
Where: *SCAPE Warehouse, Level 2

This year, *SCAPE’s Museum of Horrors tells the story of two sisters, one is about to get married. The other twin, overcome with jealousy, kills her the night before the nuptials. The groom, who can’t accept this fate, then weds the bride’s sister; and that’s when all the terror and haunting starts.

3. Cursed Studio When: 20, 25th to 27th, and 30th and 31st October 2013
Where: Chat Chat Media Studio, 30B Smith Street
Admission: $48 (top up $10 to upgrade to express ticket)
Did you know that there’s a radio studio in Singapore which is haunted? One day, when the DJs were doing their regular broadcast, they thought there was a wire trip. But what really happened was the place became cursed, and no one could escape the premise alive. For those who dare visit the haunted studio, you have to form a group of 3, complete some tasks, and escape without being eaten alive.

4. Halloween Horror NightsWhen: 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, 31 October; 1 to 3 November 2013; 7pm to 1am

Three evil sisters will be haunting those brave enough to enter their realm for the Halloween season. With an alliance to scare the wits out of you, you’d have to escape them while you weave your way through a terrifying maze of haunted houses and scare zones. Expect to be creeped out by the alluring sweet voice of the sister who haunts the Chinese Opera Academy or the vampire who looks like an innocent child. And to be able to survive the night alive, keep away from the fiercest of them all – the sister who practices the dark arts.

This year’s Spooktacular will be extra special. Sentosa has teamed up with Thai production studio, GTH, to spook us all this Halloween. In case you didn’t know, they were responsible for the scariest and most real-looking Thai horror movies which include Pee Mak, Shutter, and Body and Dorm. With this collaboration, you won’t be watching horror movies on screen… you’ll be starring in them.

6. Escape to ‘Hell’oweenWhen: 27 October 2013, 6pm to 10pm
Where: D' Marquee, Downtown East

Halloween isn’t all about scaring yourself to death. You can also party the night away at D’ Marquee’s Escape to ‘Hello’ween. Dress to impress and you may just win as the Best Dressed of the night. There are also a lot more activities which include a dance party, magic show, and a dead man walking parade.

7. 2013 Night of the Living Dead When: 31 October, 1 and 2 November 2013, 11pm to 2 am
Where: Bugis Street

Bugis has joined in the fun and this year, they will have their very own Halloween Celebration. Bugis Street has been known as a shopping district; and as such, it’s always busy. But when the shoppers have gone and midnight strikes, there are other entities which haunt this place. Are you willing to find out what these are? Then, join this tour if your heart can take it.

8. 2013 SAFRA Halloween Family Night Out When: 26 October 2013 (6pm to 10pm)
Where: SAFRA Tampines, Soccer Pitch
Admission: Free (Member), $5.35 (Guest)
Halloween doesn’t get more wholesome than this. For one night only, spend the night with your parents, family, or kids (if you have any) and watch movies at SAFRA Tampines. There will be free candy floss and popcorn to keep the kids company during the screening. Like it or not, you can also come in your most creative costume and stand a chance to win some prizes.

9. Dark Tales 2When: 26 October, 10pm to 1am
Where: Central Public Library, 100 Victoria Street
Admission: FREE
When the library doors close to the public, it gives other entities the chance to roam around the halls. For the Halloween, you can join them if you wish. The Central Public Library has brought back the Dark Tales 2, which gives you the opportunity to explore the place at night.

10. Halloween Ghostly Trails When: 26 October 2013
Where: Bukit Brown Cemetery
Admission: FREE (pre-registration is required)
If cemeteries are already spooky during the day, can you imagine how it would be like at night? If you’re curious, then you can join the Ghostly Trail at Bukit Brown Cemetery. Together with guides, you will walk the trail while listening to some history about the place. They will also be sharing with you some of the scary encounters which happened there. Interested?
