Awfully Chocolate

Not a huge fan of white chocolate but this cupcake was different -it was a gift from a friend and I decided to give it a try. After all, Awfully Chocolate is one of the pinnacles in chocolate creations be it cakes or ice cream. The cupcake is larger than those you'll find at Twelve Cupcakes or Cupcakes with Love, and is topped with copious amounts of sinful white chocolate cream.The cupcake below is moist and chocolatey and has a thin layer of liquid fudge at the bottom which makes for a delicious rounding off to the whole taste and texture. The cream in my opinion was a bit too much and I estimate the cream to cupcake ratio to be 2:1. Very, very sinful. For those who are white chocolate fans, this will be a wonderful combination of white chocolate and conventional chocolate cake. It's not as sweet as I expected, but has a cloying taste after awhile. It has bits of shaved chocolate in it for aesthetics + texture, but the cream was overwhelming in its amount. Priced at $4.90 it's also pricier than the usual cupcakes you can get for below $4, but for people who enjoy white chocolate and cream topped generously on your baked goods -this one's for you.

First of all I apologize for the terrible photo, but ION Orchard was really crowded. Even after I moved to a corner to try to snap a photo, there were still a few people walking into me and giving me weird stares for taking photo of an ice cream. HEI ice cream

This is their signature item. Their creations are called "hei", meaning "black", because it's a super premium dark chocolate ice cream made with natural ingredients. This has got to be the thickest and most chocolatey ice cream I've ever eaten! It doesn't taste too sweet, and I was told that it's because it's mostly made up of cocoa, so there's no corner-cutting in this.

Even in the terrible photo above, the fact that the ice cream can still be seen peeking out from the top of the box, shows that the portion given is rather generous too!

Don't underestimate this scoop of ice cream. Awfully chocolate is known for their cakes, but the one to steal the limelight should be this HEI dark chocolate ice cream. Awesome is the word to describe the richness of this, and the price of it (~$5) And unlike most chocolate ice-cream, this isn't overly sweet. A must try for die-hard chocolate lovers out there, but still, it is highly recommended to be shared with friends.

Super Stacked Chocolate Cake

This is something similar to Awfully Chocolate's All Chocolate cake, except that this version is richer. 1 slice costs $6.50 (around 100grams). There are different types of chocolates used for the layers! Every bite is filled with rich goodness of chocolate. The quality is definitely there. I prefer the Chocolate Flourless Cake over this though!

Where do I go when I have a chocolate as well as an ice cream crave? Awfully Chocolate, a supposedly 2 in 1
satisfaction for me. Ice cream was served to me in this little box-like packaging with a small handle. I did not exactly close
the box up to try placing my fingers through, and I doubt that anyone would carry it that way. (Maybe for little kids to
play around with?) I was quite disappointed when I received this one scope of chocolate ice cream as usually when anyone order, they were given at least 1 and a half scope. Eating the ice cream itself was like eating chocolate, and vice versa. Thick, sticky, rich, chocolaty and sinful!

This was actually my first visit to Awfully chocolate. I decided totry it out myself as i had been receiving positive and negative comments from my friends. Ordered this rich chocolate cupcakes, a chocolate cupcake dressed in delicious soft dark chocolate frosting as advertised. Surprisingly, it tasted good. The cake was soft and moisture, and spongy as well. The toppings too, are at the suitable proportion as it wont bee too creamy. Definitely will go and try out others cupcakes again

Thinking of what cake to order for your 21st? Loves chocolate? How about ordering it from Awfully chocolate! I attended my cousin 21st birthday party,it was a family-only party. As a chocolate lover myself, I am very picky with chocolates let alone chocolate cakes. The chocolate cake we ordered was really good and thickened with chocolate. It was really AWFULLY chocolicious. Not only was the chocolate cake nice, the cake itself was soft and suited to everyone's taste!In addition to that, the staff there was very helpful and patient with the ordering of cakes.

Awfully chocolate is famous for its chocolate cake and of course, their HEI dark chocolate ice cream. Do order 1 scoop, because they are very generous with one scoop of ice cream. I think it is almost equivalent to two of our normal scoops and the ice cream is always filled to the brim of the box. It is a very enjoyable treat- the dark chocolate has a nice balance of sweetness and bursting of rich chocolate flavour. Its not overwhelmingly sweet and dark chocolate lovers will definitely like this. Do share this wonderful treat (and calories) with your friends, because one scoop is really huge and unless you are a big chocolate fan, you might find finishing this big portion of chocolate ice cream alone too overwhelming.

they have wide variety of chocolate from chocolate cakes , truffles , ice creams , cupcakes etc

so we decided to try Super Stacked Chocolate Cake with different kinds of chocolate used for the six inner and outer fudge layers

the chocolate was very rich and not too sweet , but once eat cant stop it . the chocolate melt in your mouth

me and my mum ordered chocolate ice cream and the cake.wuihhhhhh 'mantap rasanya' (in malay). Really a good experience. The chocolate's not sweet enough, the cake also can feel the sponge

The things here don't come cheap, but you can be assured of the high quality, premium chocolates sold here. I had their Dark chocolate truffles served in their signature mini takeaway box. I love the chocolates because it is so rich and it has a nice bittersweet taste on every bite. The dark chocolate is also very smooth and each block is dusted with a layer of cocoa powder. However, the chocs are quite expensive and I would only indulge myself once in a long while.

I was in Ion Orchard, passing by Awfully Chocolate. I was attracted by their chocolate smell, and decided to get some chocolate cupcake back home. The chocolate cupcake make up of a really moist chocolate sponge and topped with a rich chocolate cream. The taste was good and will come back to get some more next time.

It was my birthday and i was glad to receive a cake from awfully chocolate! It’s really rich and moist! Just a bite and you will be overwhelmed by the chocolaty taste! it’s real good. It’s very soft as well! Price is expensive but you pay for the quality. Highly recommended!

Awfully Chocolate sells only 1 type of cake! Its Hei (黑) Chocolate Cake is well known for its rich moist chocolate filling. Alternate layers of chocolate sponge cake and chocolate filling make this cake a heavenly bite. The cake is chocolatey and mouth-watering, covered in a smooth chocolate cream. It is not overly sweet and perfect for the chocolate lover

The Christmas cupcakes at Awfully Chocolate are really cute. They come in different designs such as Santa Claus, ribbon and trees. The pure chocolate is heavenly when melts in one’s mouth. Though it is a little sweet, it still taste good overall. The cupcakes are freshly baked and taste very fresh. It costs $16 for 4 cupcakes.
