We needed to feed 200 people at an event and baker talent came to mind! Start at just 60 cents to 90cents for a bun, they are freshly baked and as we found out, they take orders!Ordered 200 buns from them and no deposit was required. They didn't ask for our contact and didn't contact us to confirm if we were coming to collect the buns. I guess they have good faith that we will turn up.So we picked up all 200 freshly baked buns which made my car smell heavenly! If there was ever such a thing as a baker talent air freshener. This would be it! 1. Butter Boom 60centsAt just 60 cents this is their cheapest offering and it is a light fluffy bun with a buttery and slightly oily chewy filling. It's almost like biting into a hollow steamed pau.Not much to see or nom on, but at 60 cents. It can feed the hungry and the masses!2. Cranberry Cheese 90 cents This has an actual filling inside the bun unlike the butter boom. A slight tinge of cream cheese and cranberries scattered across the exterior of the bun which makes this bun smell so delicious! 3. Golden sands bun 90 cents This is their top seller and most well marketed bun, a Liu sha bun! With a buttery, salted egg filling and a sugared top of the bun, makes this everyone's favourite!Look at the Liu sha! Kids and old folks can definitely still enjoy the fun in watching the viscosity of the fluid flow! Everyone loved the buns and we had 200 well fed and happy people! Thanks to baker talent! $165 well spent! continue reading

Baker Talent at Clement. There is always a short queue regardless of day or time. The bread were all reasonably charged from S$0.60 - S$0.95. With those cheap price doesn't spelt less filling. I especially adored the Golden Sands bun which cost S$0.90. One bite and you can see the "golden sand" oozing out of the bun. Beware, eating this bun can be quite messy. This bun can be quite additive. Keeping them in the fridge for a few days does not lessen their attraction.Get me a bun now continue reading

Joined in the queue again to buy their good and affordable bread. This time I ordered a cranberry cheese bun and it only cost 90cents. When I received my order, it was just out of the oven. I was so hungry so I ate it straight away. The hot cheese and the bun tasted really heavenly. It was slightly creamy and was almost oozing out of the bun when you bite into it. The cranberry in there gave it extra sweet taste. Very good combination and very comforting piece of bun. continue reading

Found this new place at Clementi that sells relatively affordable and delicious buns. For a start all the fluffy buns come with a generous portion of fillings. On top of that, they also have...'Golden Sands Bun'(黃金流沙包)The sweet and salty taste of this bun is deliciously wonderful. Just be careful with this bun and don't let the 'gold' flow out ofthe bun and get wasted. For full review and more photos, please visit http://nekyouto-food.blogspot.sg/2013/07/an-unexpected-journey.html continue reading

I like their best selling Butter Bun for 60 cents. It is creamy and not very sweet, tastes like cream puffs. The bread was so soft and the creamy custard inside just melt when you bite it. The breads are freshly bake and pipping hot too! I saw a few interesting flavors; Cranberry & Cheese and Bo Luo Bun! I shall try their Bo Luo bun when I visit again. Seriously, awesome buns continue reading
