Tonight I have visited the outlet Ben & Jerry's to redeem my vouchers from InSing.Com. There are 4 outlets listed in the vouchers, but 2 of the outlets which are Raffles City and Rocherster, are no longer in operation. After a wasted trip to Raffles City Shopping Centre, I am finally at this outlet. Looking at the range of ice cream available in the display counter and after tasting a number of flavoours, I decide on Couch Potato ice-cream. It is actually vanilla ice-cream with a salty caramel swirl and chocolatey covered potato chip. Sounds quite unique. For a tub size of ice-cream, it costs $15.50 which sounds not cheap. The staff scoops the ice-cream from the display counter into a tub on the spot and packs it with dry ice for takeaway. The ice cream is quite unique in taste as it tastes sweet and savoury at the same time.

Family outing with my sisters at Great World City , after dinner all went to B&J’s , this place is small and cozy with friendly servers that enthusiastically took our order - Chunky Monkey, Chocolate fudge brownie, Sweet cookies and cream , Everything but nothingChunky Monkey ‘s is a great example of how soft smooth bananas ice cream and crunchy chocolate chunks come together with a fruity and chocolately and rich after taste.One thing I like about the Chocolate Fudge Brownie is the brownie bits fused with rich and thick chocolate ice cream and ultimate puts a smile of “dirty funny” teeth on your face. Remember to rinse mouth with ice water after.Sweet cookies and cream is one of my classic favourites , and yes I love Oreos, The smooth and sweetness yet occasional soggy cookies embedded within the ice cream brings me back to my childhood.I tried the Everything But The, and it comes as a pleasant surprise, it has got peanut buttercups and all the goodie nutty rojiak mixed in to chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Very interesting!

The branch at Great World City is a nice and cosy place to chill out while waiting for your movie to start (directly upstairs of ben & jerry is GV). I ordered the 3 scoops ice cream - mixed berries sorbet, chocolate chip dough and plain vanilla. The mixed berries tasted both sweet and sour and the texture of it is smooth. The chocolate chip dough and vanilla are my favorite though. I have always like ice cream of ben & jerry as I find it not too sweet and is just nice for me. Hope there will be more new flavors coming up next!

Due to the crazily hot weather that afternoon, my friend and I had a mad craving for something cooling and just nice we walk past B&J's. I ordered my favourite Chunky Monkey and New York Super Fudge Chunk while my friend ordered her favourite Mango Sorbet and Chocolate Therapy. The staff who served us was friendly and patient, as we kept trying out the different flavours but still, we chose back our favourite. The Chunky Monkey is banana icecream with fudge chunks and walnuts while the NY Super Fudge Chunk is chocolate icecream with white & dark fudge chunks, pecans, walnuts & fudge covered almonds. The Mango Sorbet is just basically mango sorbet while the Chocolate Therapy is chocolate icecream with chocolate cookies & swirls of chocolate pudding icecream. Out of all the flavours served in icecream shops, I'll never fail to order at-least one chocolate flavour as it has always been my favourite since I was a kid and I especially like dark chocolate. The icecream serving was generous as well. The place is quite small, so i guess it's better to visit during non-peak hours. We were there around 4pm on a weekday and it was pretty much empty.

There are many choices for Ben and Jerry Ice cream!!If you do not know what to choose for the flavour try spinning the wheel. I have choose 3 choice of ice cream flavour. They are berry mixed, chocolate chip and chocolate flavour. It was a good experience as in the ice cream, there are big chocolate in there and nuts there. It was a huge scoop. They sure make with fresh ingredient from what i have experience.
