Signature Dishes
This is a must-have cake because it is a healthy fruit cake and with the wide variety of fruits topped on the cake, I am at eased eating the cake and does not need to feel that guilty as it is much healthier compared to other cake. The cake is made of the vanilla sponge with some fresh cream spread over the cake and the cake is moist on the inside. With the pistachios bits on the cake, it helps to add some crunchiness to the cake. This is a must-have cake for the weight-watchers.

It was my aunt's birthday!My cousins and I decide to choose a nice birthday cake as a surprise for my aunt We happened to pass by Bengawan Solo and decide to see if they have any nice cakes!My cousin C decided to get a chocolate cake as it's her mum's favourite The staff packed nicely for us and asked us how many candles!You know woman never liked to be reminded of their age so we only took one candle!My aunt loved the cake and was very surprised when she came home to find what we rascals have been up to I tried the cake and i think it's not bad as it's not too overly sweet and you wouldn't get sick of eating it too much!It's so nice that my aunt ate two slices I would definitely consider this for my own birthday cake and recommend to you guys to try Bengawan Solo if you've not for a birthday cake!They have other cakes too, a good variety to choose from!

pandan kaya cake ($2.90)suddenly feel bad mood and so my friend and i went to bengawan solo to buy cake to make us light up our mood. The cake layer is quite soft and fluffy and the jelly part is cold and jellish and full with pandan fragrance. Overall great but as supper it was too filling already!

Bengawan solo is a well-known bakery shop which has various stuff like almond cookies, cakes and bread. On one of the celebration, My friend order a pandan kaya cake. To my surprise, it is delicious though at the first look I wouldn't really want to try because of the fresh green in colour. It wasn't too sweet and you won't feel getting tired of eating this cake. Which I think I will recommend to people to have a taste of it when you wanted to buy a cake for celebration.
