You will not miss this stall, it is located at the corner of the food centre and there is a huge yellow sign beside the stall with its name. There are many stalls selling hokkien mee in this hawker centre, but Blue Star is one of the better stalls. I ordered a $3 plate of Fried Hokkien Mee and was impressed by how flavourful the plate of fried noodles is. It is drenched in prawn stock gravy which is very sweet and tasty. Those who prefer wet hokkien mee will like this. The prawns were huge and fresh. Also, there were pieces of chewy squid pieces fried together in the noodles. The chili and squeezed lime juice help add greater flavour and spice when missed together with the noodles and gravy. continue reading

The noodles tasted a little oily and were soaking wet when I opened it back home. I requested for without prawns, thinking there will be additional squids, but was not the case. continue reading
