A surprised birthday cake from my friend - The Black forest cake. Creamy and refreshingly good. Stuffed with blueberries between the internal layers of the cake and with strawberries on the top and some chocolates. What you see is not what you get - the website featured its black forest cake with big brown flakes on coating the cake but for this instance, my cake coating is more of powdery. We have to be extra careful when we pull out the cake by the side of the box as the power will drop out from the cake. Strawberries are fresh and cake is not as creamy as I thought.Overall, although I'm not a cake lover, I will still buy and try some other bread talk's cake next round! continue reading

Had the anpan bread (red bean) bread here and it was good! love that they made such a cute bread! Anyway, i realised that the Breadtalk here in RWS has a larger variety of breads that other branches wouldnt really have! Bought the Pumpkin custard bread too and it was pretty good too! not too sweet nor too overpowering! Love the breads from Breadtalk! And would definitely recommend it continue reading

As I was craving for a snack, I went into Breadtalk to buy myself a bread. I did not know what to buy but suddenly a bread called my attention. Its called Raddish Roll. Its being labelled as a 'must try'. Thus out of curiosity I decided to try it. It tastes fantastic! It contains raddish and some meat in it. The whole mouthfeel is very good and I finish the whole bread within a few secs! continue reading

This is my very first time to RWS's Breadtalk, and it is very different in feeling to the neighbourhood Beardtalks. I was looking around for a snack for the next morning, and I am really spolit for choices with the new varieties that the chef has came up with in conjunction with the elections earlier in the month. Eventually, I settled on the good old pumpkin bread, since it has been quite some time since I ate this. There are a few pumpkin seeds on top of the bread, as well as pumpkin seeds within the pumpkin paste in the bread. The pumpkin paste is sweetened just right, and goes well with the slightly sweet bread. Try it if you haven't already done so! continue reading
