BreadTalk

Moshi mushroom is my new favorite bun from breadtalk. This bun is super tasty with its crunchy top and soft bun. The top is really airy with thin layers of crunchy pastry that add alot of crunch. The sesame seeds on top also mean added flavour! The filling itself is savoury and very tasty with lots of chicken and mushrooms that complement the taste of the soft bun and crunchy pastry very well. Really good for breakfast or a tea time snack!

No other bakery can beat their chicken floss buns! I’m a fan of these fluffy goodness as the cream used in it is mildly sweet and does not compete with the taste of the floss. Other favourites of mine would be the cheese sticks, Hawaiian pizza and the bun with bakkwa in it (apologies, I’ve forgotten the name). While I applaud their frequent new bread products, I still love their staples.

besides tons of breads and buns, breadtalk also sells pastries and even steamed cakes. I tried out their pumpkin steamed cake as well as the cheese steam cake are really enjoyed both. My favourite was the cheese one which when served cold was something like a japanese cheesecake, light and fluffy but still having a distinct cheese flavour that is discernable

Pre-celebration for Kee's 27th Birthday. We bought a cake from Breadtalk and celebrate with him. Having our dinner at Nex Serangoon, eating at Siam Kitchen.Decent cake with a strawberry on the top, pretty decoration and chocolate flakes around. Tasty and soft cake, it was made freshly everyday. Personally, I like the creamy cake, especially chocolate flavour.

I also frequent breadtalk because of their new and innovative creations. This time when I went to breadtalk, I got a pastry called the grape escape. it was a tart with cream and green grapes. The tart base was light and not soggy, and it was very interesting to pair the tart with grapes since grapes are not conventionally used in desserts. My first time trying this combination, and I think it is a very good idea! Grapes are sweet and crunchy!

The red bean paste inside is nice.
Very fresh and not too sweet.
I like this.I'm a green tea lover, so when i saw this muffin,i immediately take it.
It taste nice.
The green tea taste's concentration is just right.
And the sweetness, wetness is also just right.
I like it when there is some kidney bean inside.
Totally like this.

But breadtalk's bread/bun/muffin is really a bit expensive then the mrt outlet, but they look more healthy and delicious.

Bought a few bread home for breakfast the next day. Well, this piece of bread tasted like Croissant but in this case, it was twisted and longish. It was a little dry to my liking. Perhaps as it was kept for a day already. They have it in cigar stick form as well. It smell really nice of milk and butter but tasted blend. Same for this. I will still go for their bread though. Especially their cheesy hotdog bread!

This is the cheese stick from Breadtalk. Therefore you can slowly eat them as compared to the original shape, this is abit special in term of shape. For the taste, it is average and if only they put some cheese inside the bread would be better. It is not bad for cheese-lover and it is affordable for many at the price of $1+. They do sell various breads other than this cheese stick.

There is promotion of $1.10 for a piece of bread from Breadtalk because they are celebrate their 12th anniversary. And so if you purchase 12 pieces of bread from Breadtalk, it only costs $12 instead of the usual pricing. I have bought the hotdog bun which is warm as i saw them carry them out of the kitchen. It is not bad just that it is abit plain already with no sauce added on the inside.

Craving for some cake and do not want to buy the whole cake because you are afraid that you can't finish ? Try out break talk's mini cake which is easy to handle and comes with a whole range of different small cake (big cakes are also available) for you to try it out.
The cake in the photo is chocolate, and there are also other flavours like mango and tiramisu
the mango one is very nice as it is very soft and tasty. most importantly it is neither too sweet nor too sour
do give it a try

I have always gotten the whole cakes from Breadtalk but since it is meant for a surprise for my hubby to celebrate our little success in doing up the house, I decided to get a sliced cake from Breadtalk. The service staff was quite nice in that she asked if I needed any candles for the sliced cake. I chose this blueberry lace cake and we shared the cake together. The cake is one of the better cakes that I have bought from Breadtalk. I love how light tasting the cake is with the vanilla sponge cake layers and the thin layer of cream between the layers of sponge cake. The cream layer has some blueberry taste was well which is quite refreshing. This will be my cake of choice the next time when I get the whole cakes.

This cheese sausage bun has always been one of my favourites in breadtalk. I like how soft and fluffy the whole bun is and with the cheese sausage inside it, it is just really nice to taste the cheese inside. I do not usually buy it often because i feel that the price of it is a little expensive as the bun is rather small and costs $1.60 already. They have the plain version without the cheese and that would have costs $1.50.

nice red bean and green tea muffins. love the green tea taste in their muffins. a bit greasy but not too bad. the red beans are generous, so it makes this muffin very filling. overall, it is a very small muffin but when they have a 2 muffin special, i always get 2. it goes well with coffee and milk. quality is consistent for all bread talk outlets. definitely recommended. service is always fast and efficient and they always top up their trays so you always get your choice of breads.

I can't emphasize how much I like all things green tea,
which is why it was love at first bite for me with Bread Talk's green tea cake.
This green tea cake is slightly different from the normal ones that I have eaten from breadtalk.
This 'unique' cake is more dense in taste as compared to the normal one,
probably because the cake has not risen enough.
The normal ones are slightly more spongy and softer.
Regardless, it is still very tasty.
I will pick the green tea over the chocolate roll anytime!

Love the Chinese New Year products from Bread Talk. This year's products is exactly the same as last year's. Rather addicted to the orange bread as it is the most orangey bread I've tasted in Singapore! There is an orange sugary crust and an orangey custard filling. It's orange and more orange. It's nice and sweet and comforting. This only comes out during Chinese New Year so I tend to buy lots as it's only once a year! Highly recommended! It's available in all outlets.
