Never to miss out this delicious roasted pork knuckle when you happen to visit this restaurant. Restaurant is comfortable and spacious, also the service here is prompt and friendly too. Pork knuckle has been roasted till really crispy and fragrant which is also not oily nor salty. The pork meat is very juicy and tender. The outer crust is very tasty and goes well with the pork meat. A whole pork knuckle is good to serve between two to four adults. At $36++ per serving, is expensive but really Yummy! Have the pork knuckle on its own or with a bowl of rice (if you still have the space in your tummy), both equally good! continue reading

My friend suggested to meet at Brotzeit for dinner. She went there recently for dinner and find the food there nice so ask us to go togetherWe ordered a Schweinshaxn / Pork Knuckle to share. The pork knuckle is served with potato salad, sauerkraut and homemade sauce on the side. The pork knuckle is crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. The potato salad is like mushed potato and the pickled cabbage is nice, sourish and goes well with the pork knuckle.Meeresfrüchtesalat / Seafood Salad This seafood salad has smoked salmon, seared tuna, prawns, semi-dried tomatoes, olives, grilled zucchini, orange wedges in it. The salad dressing is sour cream tossed with house dressing. And it goes well with all the ingredients in it. Nice. continue reading

Wanted to get a quick lunch but try something non local and less carbo as I was on a photography project with hubby and there’s lots of work to be done. I went to Brotzeit @ Raffles City Shopping Centre which seems spacious and clean. Ordered a Crispy Chicken Salad and my order was served shortly by the swift staff. I liked the vibrant colours and the visual appeal of the dish and could not help whipping out my DSLR to take a good snap ; On the first bite, the chicken fillets were crispy with the fresh and crunchy vegetables tossed in their zesty house dressing makes a great hearty healthy meal! Now back to work… continue reading

To me, Brotzeit is a place mainly for german food and of course BEER!! But when i learned they have high tea set, i was really curious! So when a friend suggest coming here for a Christmas meet up, i was delighted! For one set you can choose three items + one hot drink ( tea or coffee ). Since we got two sets, we got all different items to share and try =) I would say most items are pretty good except the black forest cake! My complaint is that it's TOO SMALL for the portion. Not worth so please get something else ok.I also top up a bit to change my hot drink to a beer. Got my all time favourite - Mango Beer!! If you like fruity beer, can give this a try =) continue reading

Out so many drinking holes, Brotzeit is one of those places that never fails me when you are hungry while having drinks. This was what happened to 4 very stressed working professionals. Lol. The guys had their beer and while faced with an array of delicious german sausages in the menu, we decided that its probably more economical to order the Brotzeit platter.A very very glorious platter made up of their signature Pork Knuckle with crispy skin and fattening 'collagen' and flavourful lean meat nearer to the bone, a thin fillet of pork schnitzel in a fine batter, and a selection of german sausages. For $88, you get this platter of meaty goodness with your choice of 2 side dishes. With all that meat, of course we made the healthier choice to get sauerkraut and some sauteed mixed vegetables. Highly recommended! TGIF! continue reading
